Well it’s been on the cards for some time, finally @northernassist are losing their franchise for providing such a dire service! Not before time, fingers crossed things can be worked in to improve the service across the board….

Good to see the @MayorofGM getting on @NorthernRailLtd / @NorthernAssist’s case re the truly awful train service they provide. About time they were held to task on this.

I feel the performance of Northern Rail is now so poor that the time has come for an official investigation to establish whether it is breaching its license to operate.

@northernassist Can you please ensure all staff are trained adequately. Member of staff unable to figure out adding plus bus so just had to buy a return train ticket and will have to buy a day ticket on the bus. So I'm having to pay more for travel than I should.
