I've seen it all. 😂 A copy/paste uniswap fork on @HyperliquidX hyperevm let users farm pts for over a year and then said "nevermind, no token afterall," kept a year's worth of fees for themselves, and then invented a 'cashdrop' to give a dust allocation to the top 10K users. Anyone supporting this is either a paid KOL or hasn't done the math. If you've done the math and refuse to be scammed any more, consider this a personal invitation to move to @RamsesExchange. If you LP you're getting 5X the rewards per $1 of tvl compared to @prjx_hl and if you stake $RAM you earn 100% of the fees generated on the platform. No token promise scams, no overstated metrics on the app, no insultingly smol 'cashdrops' when you deserve all the fees. You're welcome.

.@NestExchange tells their users their getting 100% of swap fees when in reality it's 97% because they're giving you a cut. The other dirty secret is how they don't educate users on how much money they're losing depositing in the 'Automated' strategies. The impermanent loss is predatory.

@katexbt it almost always starts with anon business guys doing a copy/paste of another protocol and then having outsourced dev teams 'manage' the tech. No interest in moving the industry or in this case @HyperliquidX forward. Straight up grift with zero accountability. Many such cases.

there's one thing i have noticed this cycle, especially after Kumbaya on $MEGA if a project won't straight out rug and scam they'll sure as hell siphon a lot of money whichever way they can and not tell users about it while the volumes are high and they clear 5 figs a month

"Its not the size, its how you use it". Some truth to this- People focus on making $ but thats only half the equation. What actually matters is how much Utility you are getting in your life from what you spend. Utility = (Money you spend) * (Spending Efficiency) There is an Art to spending money. The same amount can achieve much more utility depending on how you use it. Spending $1b throwing a huge Indian wedding with celebrities and singers for 3 nights, cool story bro. Spending $10m to get some of the time of the world leading experts, either doctors to convert that money to health utility, or domain experts to convert to money through better investment/execution decisions, huge utility. There are fishy ways and sharp ways to get the most utility for what your budget is, regardless of the size. So size of course matters, but spending focus to think how you use it makes all the differences, otherwise its just a number in a video game you either hoarde for nothing or spend in tacky ways that can even reduce your utility. Food for thought.

@koolkrypto223 @prjx_hl good post any system that doesn't keep all the value distributed to users is at risk of losing market share. This is why @RamsesExchange and @AerodromeFi continue to eat up market share from uniswap and its forks. It's an evolution within dex primitives to greater efficiency.

Thoughts on @prjx_hl cash drop First off thank you to the team. The bar is incredibly low as far as HyperEVM airdrops go, but just returning straight cash to early users is so much better than dropping a useless governance token that goes to zero. At the same time though, I think this is an interesting case study as to why @Uniswap forks are fundamentally doomed. In order to get this cash drop, I earned ~$1m in LP fees, and $135k went to @prjx_hl as they have a 14% take rate. So the cash drop is effectively just a 10% rebate of what they made. Effective take rate down to 12.6%. Assuming that 12.6% take rate remains with the ongoing USDC rewards they are doing, why would I continue to LP here over @NestExchange (the HyperEVM @AerodromeFi metaDex equivalent)? You're selling the same volatility in the same range but getting paid more to do so. This is the fundamental flaw with all @Uniswap forks and why I'm long $AERO and $NEST. You can't have a take rate to support a token (and @prjx_hl is wisely choosing not to do so) AND be the best place to LP. LP's will choose to migrate to where they get 100% of LP fees over 87.4%. This is on top of the fact that only earning fees off being short realized vol means that longer tail pairs can't attract liquidity in the same way emissions can incentivize. This will become increasingly important as more spot RWAs come on chain. Liquidity will flow to where the highest rewards are, volume will get routed to where the best liquidity is, and value accrues to $AERO and $NEST.

This doesn’t even feel like peanuts considering they generated around $31M in fees since launch. Pretty disappointed. They had the chance to do something really special without launching another useless token TGE and instead decided to distribute almost nothing. If APRs stay this high I’ll probably keep using it. If they change, my liquidity will migrate somewhere else on HyperEVM. @x256xx you were completely right.

Today is the @prjx_hl cashdrop Honestly, whatever amount of $USDC I get will be more than welcome. I think @Lamboland_ and @BOBBYBIGYIELD made the right decision by not launching another useless token with no utility just for the sake of doing a TGE. For me, the real airdrop has always been the insane APRs we’ve had all this time and still have today. And now on top of that we get rewarded with some extra $USDC and from what they’ve been hinting recently… it looks like an NFT collection is coming too. If that NFT ends up having revenue share from the protocol, it would honestly be one of the smartest airdrop structures we’ve seen on Hyperliquid/HyperEVM. What do you think?

For the amount of circle-jerking this project got, to get 1/15th (to be conservative) of what OG Hypio minters got is amazing. The old class of CT is cuck-core and acts like starved peasantry when a two-bit marketer from blast shows up. You get what you deserve. Sorry for never being wrong, but if I have to pay the price for being the bearer of bad news, I get to take my victory laps too. Hyperliquid is successful by rewriting the playbook.
