NEWS: INDYCAR Officiating has issued a post-race technical inspection penalty to the No. 10 Chip Ganassi Racing entry following the Indy 500 for violating speedway front wing end plate height requirements.
The entry has been penalized five championship driver and entrant points and the team has been fined $10,000.

CARB DAY: Cloudy skies will be in place to start the day. Rain is set to develop in southern Indiana and move toward central Indiana in the early afternoon. Once rain arrives, it will be steady rain through Friday evening.
It's going to be a close call for practice that begins at 11 AM and lasts until 1 PM. No severe weather risk is in play.
