A timeline: In 2021, a male student who wore female clothing sexually assaulted a girl in the bathroom at Stone Bridge High School. The school board then passed a policy allowing students to use whichever bathrooms they want to. In March 2025, a female student who claimed to be a boy recorded male peers in the boys' locker room at Stone Bridge High as revenge for them expressing discomfort with her being there. School officials went after the boys for voicing their "transphobic" views. In April 2026, a trans substitute teacher for the district was charged with alleged plans to kill people at John Champe High School.
