This is what Trump's done to the people's house: A third of it is rubble. Another third is a cage match. What a metaphor.

21-year-old Corion Foster is now officially charged for an alleged fatal police chase crash on Indy’s near east side earlier this month. His passenger, 21-year-old Lesley Yarrell III, was thrown from the truck in the crash and died. The crash happened just after midnight May 8 near Washington and State. Foster was allegedly driving nearly 90 mph at the time of the crash. Police say an officer was trying to stop Foster for suspected DUI. He allegedly sped off and later crashed in a construction zone. Foster was wanted on two active felony warrants at the time of the crash. He’s now in jail on a hold for those warrants. He was charged this morning with: - Resisting law enforcement causing death, a Level 3 felony - Reckless homicide, a Level 5 felony - Operating without ever having a license and causing death, a Level 5 felony. He is set to have his first court appearance on the new charges next week.

On Petersfield station, southbound side, there’s a huge billboard advertising a tropical holiday with a photo of a beautiful couple joyfully splashing each other in the water. I walked past it, stopped, walked back and stared. ‘Adults-only holiday,’ read the billboard. ‘Entirely child-free.’. But this wasn’t ‘adults only’ in the 20th-century sense: getting frisky with strangers after a pink gin and an all-you-can-eat buffet. What was being sold was a holiday guaranteed to contain not a squeak of any disgusting child, and the whole tone of the advert was one of joyful relief: At last! Just what we’ve all always wanted, but never dared to admit! The beautiful couple could spend their days scrolling freely on their expensive phones, undisturbed by the excited shouts of infants. And no need to worry about a depressing return to a world full of kids, because as the fertility crisis has grown across the developed world, so, in its shadow, an entire industry of child-free activities has also begun to flourish. There are child-free restaurants, child-free gardens, child-free hotels, all advertising themselves with the same indefinably unpleasant air. ✍️ Mary Wakefield Article | spectator.com/article/the-ri…

Dave Ramsey reveals he owns $850 million in real estate and paid for all of it in cash "This campus is probably 650 million. I own probably 850 million or so in real estate" "We don't borrow money at all ever for anything. Debt equals risk and the borrower is slave to the lender. When something like a COVID hits, we don't go out of business"

If I told you that one man since 2020 has faced over 30 criminal cases in Indiana, including most being felony charges in Marion County for theft, resisting law enforcement, drug offenses, residential entry, auto theft, and criminal trespass, would you expect him to be in jail? Me too. Recently, he allegedly committed a violent crime against Carmel residents, injured a victim and terrorized a family. Unacceptable. Let me ask what many residents are likely thinking: How does this happen?! Carmel and other donut county residents pay the price when repeat offenders in Marion County cycle through the system without accountability. Our residents deserve to be safe. And police officers, who repeatedly do their jobs and put themselves in harm’s way, deserve a system that works alongside them. We’ve invested in more personnel, technology and partnerships to keep Carmel safe. Enough is enough. This cannot be our new normal. It’s time Marion County does their part and holds criminals accountable.

we talk about it a lot but housing prices being up 40% from pre pandemic with double the interest rate is absolutely insane
