Speaking as a former employee, Trader Joe’s is one of like only two or three grocery store chains who actually treats their employees like humans (in addition to only hiring hot people). You’re interacting with a person who actually has joy in their life and you can’t handle it

If you looked through my Myspace and Tumblr pages you'd probably see memes- some, which may be distasteful by today's standards, but you won't see straight up bigotry and support for terrorism and killing Jews. We're not talking about a kid posting raunchy song lyrics or underage drinking photos. We're talking about foundational world views rooted in hate and bigotry-that comes from somewhere. Especially when this behavior continues to become more severe and radical as an adult. People are only trolling through her past social media because her current social media is so abhorrent. The pattern is pretty clear.

I don’t agree with the excavation into Mamdani’s wife social media accounts, but is that the truth? I set up this account as a teenager. I can’t remember everything I have written from 2012 until now, but I am 100% sure no post of mine contains any racial/homophobic slurs or expressions of support for terrorism.

i recently recalled this memory from when i was 4 yo: i couldn't sleep at night so i just laid in bed with my eyes open. slowly i could see fairies about 3 inches high, doing what looked like work. passing glowey objects back and forth, pulling levers, creating orbs, etc. somehow my 4 yo brain had the sentience to try and see if i could "make them" do things with my mind. probably bc my family had told me that i had an active imagination. alas, i could not make them do things. they just kept chugging along.

When I was hospitalized for attempting suicide a few years back, I was brought my school backpack with the books I’d last left in it still inside so I could to read. I was reading The Metamorphosis when a nurse remembered it ends with Gregor killing himself and confiscated it.
