When I play a Sony title via Steam and log into my PSN, it’s appears on my PlayStation app as of I’m actively playing the game on a console. They tucked the PC side under Nixxes Software and cleaned up the wording because the goal is to make you a PlayStation player only. Once I signed into my PSN, I became a PlayStation player. IMO that’s groundwork for a PlayStation app on PC where you log in and everything runs through them instead of Steam being the main thing. And if true, I wonder where they got that idea from —-> 🎮💚💚💚🎮 Sidenote: still on PlayStation website 😉

💯 I actually agree with everything you said… except the running speed part. I felt the Sprint is just fine. The last thing I want is another super fast COD like speed Extraction shooter live service game made for people who have ADHD. But the game needs a dedicated Class Base 4 v 4 PvP mode. So we can actually just enjoy the fantastic gunplay without doing Inventory Management.

Marathon early impressions after a few hours. Has some cool aspects, but ultimately feels lacking. +Solid gunplay. +Weapons have great feedback. +Decent visuals. +Great art design and atmosphere. +Superb sound design and OST +Very distinct style. +Strong enemy AI. +Character classes differentiate. -Lacks the enemy spectacle or terror massive machines and bugs in Helldivers 2 and Arc Raiders offer. -Matches just aren't as thrilling or dramatic as contemporaries most of the time. Lacks the same hook. -Primarily pipedal humanoid machines, bar ticks which aren't too exciting. Enemy variety needs work. -UI has interesting style, but is overly busy, messy and difficult. -Loot balance isn't good. -Sponsored load out is awful. Not even enough healing to fill a single health bar, and barely any ammo. -Extremely difficult to find ammo mid run unless you still have enough ammo to kill adds. Have to resort to suicide style melee runs. In other contemporaries ammo is a consistent part of loot. -Homebase doesn't feel as fleshed out as Arc Raiders or HD2. In Arc I enjoyed the different characters, seeing your home of operations evolve etc. HD2 you have an awesome ship, interactive map, other players etc. Marathon is just a boring talking AI head. Graphic design does all the heavy lifting, and isn't nearly as compelling. -Don't enjoy the actual act of extracting nearly as much as other extraction shooters. The silo extraction building in Arc offers way more fun usage as cover, while taking on squads or massive machines, having tense congregations inside etc, and HD2 has epic extractions where entire hordes of enemies descend upon you and a ship picks you up. Marathons is just a boring out in the open beacon that warps you away. -Movement feels a bit slow and plodding, especially with how quickly stamina runs out, and the mechanics involved in waiting fot it to replenish before being able to run. Other extraction shooters allow incremental sprints even when you've exhausted stamina. Grapple massively helps, but base movement could do with tweaking. -Progression seems a lot less fleshed out or rewarding than other recent extraction shooters so far. Overall, is my first taste enough to convince me to buy it? Not really. I'll likely keep playing, and while there's fun to be had and I may enjoy it more and more over time, I'm honestly quite disappointed this is what Bungie of all studios has cooked up in all this time.
