@CLADverse @DanielOlimac They are obviously AI to anyone familiar with hanzi/kanji/other derived writing systems shapes that look like distinct characters mashed together, nonexistent radicals, bizarre caligraphy in some places. this was not made by a person who knows Hanzi

@DanielOlimac Hold your horses Mr self proclaimed Ai slop expert. 1) ShiftUp already stated that using Ai in prototyping and Stellar Blade Blood Rain is still in very early development. 2) What exactly makes it look Ai-isch to you? Just because these characters doesn't exists?

AI-generated elements are indeed present in the "Stellar Blade Blood Rain" trailer. Some of the "Chinese writing" is very visibly AI slop. I didn't want to point it out earlier because I presume these are placeholders to be replaced throughout development (and mostly because I'm not comfortable enough with Chinese writing to authoritatively point the finger). Still, not a good look to have these in your reveal trailer. It's... sloppy. @StellarBlade @SHIFTUP_Corp

I think the idea that you think the queer One Piece characters like Ivankov, Bon Clay, Kiku and Yamato are positive representation and the fact that Oda’s representation of the Kammabaka Queendom’s residents are transphobic caricatures can exist mutually.

@KaneBlueriverCL the way modern fighting game culture works inherently leads to very quick optimization and homogenization of knowledge, which is then made worse by how modern games tend to patch away glitches and bizarre interactions all well as having less weird character specific quirks anyway
