In the last few months, while running around conferences and trade shows, we met a bunch of amazing people. One of them, who does custom merch for an NBA team, casually mentioned that he’s close friends with Mark Cuban. Now… Mark Cuban hasn’t invested in a YC company in a 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦. But we shot our shot anyway. And to our surprise, he replied. Inquisitive, curious, genuinely asking questions. It honestly felt like pitching on Shark Tank, except the entire thing was happening over email. It’s wild what the last 3 months have looked like. Equal parts chaos, equal parts magic. there’s literally no concept of bulking or gaining for women. when I tell my girlfriends that I’ve been on a gain diet for the last 2 months eating balanced meals and snacks 6 times a day, yes 6.. and not cutting carbs but actually increasing them along with my protein and fat intake they’re genuinely surprised that a woman would intentionally choose to do that I gained 12 pounds in these 2 months and I’m so proud of myself I feel more energetic, productive, and strong now. more women need to try this. 🤌

Welcome to dark side of being a founder: a confession Friday fundraising update: 1 big yes MANY No’s Everyone tells you, “celebrate the wins” But the No’s are sticky, like tar. They get under your skin, into your thoughts, and for a brief, shameful moment… they make you dislike yourself. And when you don’t like yourself, you lose the ability to like others around you. So here’s my confession, and my apology. Lately, I haven't been the best version of myself. Not dramatic, not explosive, just subtle, lack of appreciation for the very people who help me fight this wildly improbable fight every day. And I’m sorry. I can do better. I will do better. Fundraising will conclude soon. This emotional turbulence will pass. The scoreboard will change. P.S. Let me leave you with the greatest stress-buster I know, the attempt to learn new things.

walked in the yc office to work and it seems they're already hosting events for the upcoming W26 batch crazy to think about how fast time has gone and more importantly, how much life has changed

An investor quoted this tweet, said they want to be on the right side of it. Talked transparently about their ownership requirements and process upfront and gave us the option of proceeding with the call or ending early. We ended early but we like them as investors now. Good things can happen

One thing I feel most people are underestimating is that most companies will launch most products. The barrier to software and launching new things is at the lowest its ever been. Antigravity can launch but most people won't even care because there's so many launches every day and they already use Cursor. It was never just about product, feel like a ton of people took the PLG pill too far and expect everything to be product based.
