Why I think DAWN + InfraFi could become a dominant narrative A lot of people hear InfraFi and think it’s just another crypto buzzword. I don’t see it that way. InfraFi is about owning and monetizing real-world infrastructure, on-chain. What is InfraFi? InfraFi (Infrastructure Finance) lets individuals and communities: – Own physical or digital infrastructure – Provide real services (compute, bandwidth, storage, energy) – Earn from actual usage, not speculation I see it as DeFi, but grounded in real-world demand. Traditional infrastructure looks like this: – Built by corporations – Funded by massive capital – Controlled by a few entities – Users only pay, never own InfraFi flips that model. With InfraFi: – People deploy infrastructure – Rewards are tied to usage – Ownership is distributed It’s capitalism, but open-source and community-owned. This is where @dawninternet comes in. DAWN is not just “decentralized internet.” DAWN is connectivity infrastructure that InfraFi needs to function in the real world.
