Truth & Lies. Mix Musk's interventions with Starmer's unpopularity, is it possible to separate the truth from the lies? (Strong language and adult themes.)

Wow, another Labour MP resigns. Read Rosie Duffield’s resignation letter to Starmer, it’s devastating and filled with everything currently on the public’s mind as they try to comprehend his Tory heavy policies after promising ‘change’ news.sky.com/story/rosie-du…

“Obviously there will be no return to freedom of movement, the customs union or the single market” says @Keir_Starmer at #PMQs In other news the OBR report the Gov’t keeps quoting from says Brexit is on course to cut UK trade by a staggering 15%

Francesca Albanese slams Starmer & the UK 🇬🇧: “Israel is committing a genocide. It’s not only me saying that. It’s hundreds of legal experts, historians, genocide scholars, including from Israel 🇮🇱 So why is the UK 🇬🇧 still trading weapons with Israel 🇮🇱” The UK is guilty.

A "growth budget" for UK? Rejoin the EU's customs Union, renegotiate a bespoke trade deal with 🇪🇺. Use the billions in growth achieved before the next election to invest in areas that supported Brexit!

@ianpuddick All good and likewise. While both familiar with the frequent myth of police accountability, the Stalker affair illustrates - from within - the degree of ( police & state ) protectionism, sanctioned abuse and cruelty readily deployed in the avoidance of it.

.@PrivateEyeNews picking up on one of the most troubling revelations from recent Investigatory Powers Tribunal — police were spying on Police Ombudsman staff, the very organisation responsible for investigating police complaints(!) and all authorised by then PSNI Chief Constable.

Yes agree though, it's important to make a distinction that not all police officers themselves are criminals, but rather that the system at the top has become self-serving, prioritizing optics and control over integrity and justice. Any officer who dares to speak up or challenge this corrupt system is quickly sidelined and silenced through various tactics—whether through unfounded allegations, internal investigations, or being pushed out of the force altogether. These officers aren’t punished for actual misconduct, but rather for failing to align with leadership’s corrupt agendas. This creates a climate where the truth is suppressed, and the force is driven by fear, rather than a commitment to justice. Sentiments like this are exactly what police leadership is counting on to continue carrying out their injustices. By allowing the public to believe that all officers are corrupt, they can distract from the real issue—their own leadership’s role in perverting justice and suppressing due process for both officers and the public. This allows them to carry on with unchecked power, while honest officers are silenced.

The IOPC said all those facing action were from the Met’s anti-corruption unit, the directorate of professional standards (DPS). DPS is where the corruption is rife. The MET will protect it at all costs. theguardian.com/uk-news/2024/s…

Occasionally this happens .. but more reliably PSD will of course corruptly ignore the evidences, complaints investigations policy and statutory guidance with tacit support by chiefs and a complicit policing oversight. Reputation management by any abusive means - #Reputation1st
