A very heartfelt thanks to all of our supporters and campaigners - everyone that signed our petition, helped with crowdfunding donations, supported us on social media and shouted so loud for the community that we could no longer be ignored

Good info on plans for the former cruise terminal site. Our lobbying and thousands strong petition played a significant part in the decision to scrap the planned terminal

@cobm123 @Royal_Greenwich time to step up and stop facilitating cruise ships at Greenwich Ship Tier. Do your bit to let @LondonPortAuth know that highly polluting cruise ships aren't appropriate in London.
Ralph Hardwick@HardwickRalph

@CharlotteV As a Minister what are you doing for a sustainable London? Greenwich Ship Tier needs to go. @transportgovuk @ThamesRRG @EGRA_London @notoxicport @mtpennycook @coyleneil @MayorofLondon bbc.co.uk/news/world-eur…

@notoxicport @EGRA_London @LondonPortAuth @Royal_Greenwich I’ve requested a review of the provision of coach parking - not just for that reason but also as I see no reason anyone needs to get a coach up town from Greenwich given public and active transport available, and additional inconvenience to residents and local businesses.

The monstrous cruise ships tower over residents homes, pumping out fumes 24/7, delivering little or no economic benefit to our community. We need proper air monitoring & noise enforcement as a minimum. Port of London must listen to residents concerns mylondon.news/news/south-lon…

@MayorofLondon Silvertown Tunnel and cruise ships in Greenwich running massive generators 24/7. Get a grip. Both undermine whatever good you hope to do on improving air quality or addressing the very real climate emergency we are all facing.

It’s unacceptable that Londoners are forced to breathe polluted air. The ULEZ has hugely reduced air pollution in central London, but we need to go further to meet legal NO2 levels. On October 25, I'm expanding it to protect the health of Londoners now, and in the long term.

Disappointing to see a cruise ship back in Greenwich running diesel generators 24/7. We hoped that @LondonPortAuth and @Royal_Greenwich had declared a moratorium on cruise ships in London until they had installed an onshore power supply. So much for a climate emergency!

Been revisiting opposition to the Enderby Wharf cruise terminal for a class later in the week. Dug out this vague promise of an alternative vision from @DanLThorpe in 2018 "we could build a new Peninsula Park on the riverfront for everyone to enjoy" Wonder what happened to that?

Bicycle tourism is a growing sector of the #tourism market and contributes € 44 billion to the European economy every year. Roughly the same as the whole European #cruiseship industry! 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️= 🇪🇺🚢 ecf.com/sites/ecf.com/…

The lovely little green space is so close to where the proposed but now hopefully abandoned forever London cruise terminal at Enderby Wharf would have been built.
