wanna share some tips on how i push deep runs in Endless Dungeon 2 by @gh_jetton
quick disclaimer, this is just my own method, not claiming it's the best or only way but it gets solid results consistently, curious how y'all approach it too
once you're geared up with the best equipment you can get, here's what to focus on for deep runs
full focus on hp fountains. grab the cartographer's lens artifact asap, between floors it gives u a handful of torches or tops u off if you're running on empty. bonus, Lens is the only way to stack more than 9 torches in one slot
once you've got enough gold in a run, grab torches for 2 slots and an hp potion for 1 slot. keep that stack alive and it carries u through about two thirds of the run
when u spot the leaf marker (altar or fountain ahead), heal up with a potion if you're not full. don't be shy using potions to push max hp higher every chance u get
focus on vampiric and hp regen perks
autobattle speeds things up and u can buy it with in game currency, but on high floors fight manually. autobattle doesn't play around blocks the way u would, it just rolls random
once 1 potion starts feeling risky, go 1 torch slot plus 2 potion slots. that's the sweet spot imo. going full 3 potions is a mistake
knowing roughly where you're headed makes the whole run smoother and helps u dodge traps, still the number 1 threat
5x a day u get one ad revive per run if u die in the dungeon. die to a boss and the fight just ends, no loot from it, but u can still go deeper or bail with everything else u collected
watch your bonus caps. vampiric caps at 30%, crit at 50% and that 50% includes ur gear stats too. if ur gear already gives 50% crit, taking more crit in run is dead weight. a flat 2% defense bonus from a guardian perk does more for u at that point since it's not capped out
track incoming damage. if a trap or mob crit would drop u below what u can survive and u got a potion, drink it. hesitate and eat the hit and there's no undo, you're burning one of your limited revives on it. same logic in fights, heal early if a crit could kill u, losing a multi hour run to greed is not worth it
