@vcaazze @Reave I think the venator is a current bigger problem than being able to get decent lute sometimes. Considering you have to sink half of your build into that tree in order to do it you should definitely be rewarded for it.

@Reave People are choosing to do it I have been doing it for 2 days and you get good stuff but you also have to dump 36 points into the tree to get it which limits you. It does not need to be nerfed people are choosing to farm it and not do anything else

Incredible how this article completely ignores how machine learning made the AI more compelling than anything ever seen in a game ever. Generative AI isn’t inherently unethical. Context matters—the writer provides little and assumes much.

@LENXwastooshort For the sake of proper context; they use AI text to speech with the permission of the voice actors. I still think it’s a stinky practice, and one we should wholeheartedly not support, but it’s not quite the same as using chatGPT to replace voice actors entirely

After reading the review, it seems like the reviewer really liked the game but couldn’t get past not just how bad the AI implementation was, but how brutally it contradicts the games themes and strengths. While 2/5 is harsh (I’d personally do 3/5) it’s completely fair imo This is what actually being against AI looks like. The fact we’re only against AI when the end product is “good” just shows a willingness to consume slop.
