The accident happened on 22 March 2026 near Badopal village in Fatehabad, Haryana, on National Highway 9. I was driving my Maruti Celerio towards Agroha when a Honda City coming in the fast lane, driven by a lady, crashed head-on into my car. The police are refusing to register my FIR because it is a VIP vehicle, and the police officers have already taken money from them. I have already met the SP of Fatehabad on 25 March 2026 and also submitted another complaint to the SP on 10 April 2026, but no proper action has been taken so far. Thankfully, I had a dashcam installed in my car. Otherwise, I would have been forced to pay for the damage to their car as well, because even now the police are trying to portray me as the accused. The police are claiming that the road had been converted into a single lane, but the single-lane diversion started after the next cut ahead. I was never informed about any single-lane traffic, and there were no warning signs either. I also have earlier footage showing that no vehicles were driving on my side of the road. #driveresponsibly

I am in my small car. I give left indicator and am turning left into the side road. There is a 2 wheeler on my left side. He has already seen my indicator and has also noticed that I have slowed down and am turning. Yet, he cuts straight across. He wants to go straight. Majority of times in these scenarios, the 2 wheelers come in the blind spot of the car driver. We can't see the 2 wheeler. How can the 2 wheeler assume that I know that he wants to go straight? What goes in the mind of the 2 wheeler? Not always the 4 wheeler driver is at fault. So many times, 2 wheeler guys are at fault and drive rashly. #Safedriving

@DriveSmart_IN The driver was paying more attention to traffic on his left to find the gap to merge into than looking at traffic on his right. After he saw the red car moving to the left & parking he assumed there was no car behind it & looked left again. Everything changed in just 2-3 seconds!

Pick a safe gap 😬 If it takes 3-4 seconds for us to complete the turn and reach the required speed,we need at least 3-4 seconds of safe gap !

@Deadlykalesh Truck drivers are aware of the rule but prefer to use inner lane because 2 wheelers use the slow outer lane & are difficult to judge/overtake. Either low powered 2 wheelers are banned from highways or are given a separate lane. Road design+driver training need a full overhaul.

My friend currently lives in this flat. He told me that the fire brigade’s water doesn’t reach the upper floors. This building is only 15 floors tall.
