This was a conversation between two Bengali actors on 2nd May 2021, when post poll violence had just begun. Parambrata was suggesting that the day be declared “World Thrashing Day,” while Swastika was laughing and agreeing with him. Now, after the election results, Parambrata claims he was compromised, under pressure, and did it for his kids. But just a few weeks ago, he was campaigning for TMC and asking people to repeat 2021. He was enjoying the violence, rapes, and murders of BJP workers and supporters while sitting in the lap of TMC ministers. He was not compromised. He was part of it. Soon, he will fix another date to celebrate “Ragdani Diwas.”
