I will make the best Media House, and I will make the best Education Company according to my taste.
It will take me some time cause I have to figure out logistics before starting to work on the actual problem
Yes, as an immigrant, being legal is the main issue, but don't worry, it will turn out to be great.

We can talk all day about how these models are going to produce so much good and produce value. And I think they will. But the reality is many of my buddies are unemployed, can't seem to find jobs, and continue to send 1,000 resumes a week on LinkedIn.
This is even worse for new grads.
These models are wonderful tools but a majority of people don't know how to do much other than write emails with them. Just because you invent a tool like the hammer, doesn't mean everyone is going to magically know how to build a house with it.
I don't think people are lazy. Last week I made a tweet doing a free Codex class and 5,000 people came by. It's clear people want to build and adapt, they just don't know where to start.
The appetite is there, but nearly all of the scaffolding + education is missing.
AI people love to quote the industrial revolution all the time, and how back then people were scared of machines taking their jobs but it all worked out.
What they never mention is that it only worked out because we built an entire education system from scratch to bring everyone along. The industrial revolution created a massive wave of new jobs and nobody was trained for any of them. The tools didn't save anyone on their own, because the education had to catch up.
It's never been a better time to start an education company. Millions of people want to learn, many of the tools are free, and the only thing missing is someone showing them the way.

@FarzaTV @therealprady Yesss the education piece really is missing. We need to prepare people for the transition.

Girls in their 30s be like, “OMG I’m so behind,” but meanwhile they’ve healed their inner child, stopped people pleasing, left that toxic job, started therapy, learned to enjoy their own company, travel when they want, and actually like themselves now. Like sis. You’re not behind at all. You’re evolving.

This video will never go viral. Because that’s not what I made it for.
My part time job had be taking part in an organization’s first rebrand in over 40 years.
It was a painful and long process. People felt like we were out to destroy their family, a center of their lives that they held dear.
This organization has had a huge impact on the lives of thousands of people - those dealing with all sorts of mental health disease, like dementia, schizophrenia, depression, everything.
Not only that, they work with an ethnic community that has a super intense stigma towards this issues.
I know that stigma well.
It took a lot of listening and careful process, but we’ve landed in a place where almost the whole community feels excited about the change.
To get the buy in from the team, I made this special version of the launch video for them. One where all aspects community - clients, partners, families, and staff, could see themselves together on screen.
As a 2 person marketing team, I’m super proud of the work we did - including producing and directing their launch media, putting on a huge storytelling launch event, and most importantly, helping to get the team on board.

November batch of walks is upon us - can’t believe it’ll be 70 week in Nov. That feels unreal.
What’s even more unreal is that I’m yet to do one of these walks alone. Even though it’s at 8am on Saturday. That’s so awesome!!!
Thanks ya’ll for showing up. And for those who haven’t yet - I look forward to meeting you soon 🤝

(Though there is a secret part of me that’s a lil excited about the day when no one shows - where I get to do 10k steps alone through the park with no work talk or phones. Sounds pretty sweet actually…)

@adele_bloch Love all your insights Adele! Thank you for sharing! I totally agree, life is more than work and breaks are important parts of living 😊

America has it all backwards.
I just spent the last 2 months traveling around Europe without a job.
I wasn’t earning any money but I felt so rich. Like wealthy in the soul?? I was truly LIVING. I met people from all around the world. I saw new cultures. I recalibrated. Not behind a computer screen but out there in the real world.
Im now coming back home, I talk to people who give me blank stares when I tell them what I’ve been up to. like… they can’t fathom having stepped away from work…
growing up in the Bay especially, I’ve been taught to hold tightly onto the money I earn. To always make sure that I have enough. to always be making more.
but the excessive work culture isn’t the norm there -it is normalized to take breaks to **live**
it was one of the most fruitful ways I’ve ever spent my time. I feel wealthy in the soul. I feel like I lived. I, even for a moment, let go of the notion that you must constantly be working for the rest of your life in order to finally pause, and embraced how much life is worth living now.
I don’t want to spend the rest of my life hunched around the screen. I don’t want to spend the rest of my life gripping tightly onto the money I make, forgetting that we make money so we can spend it on what makes life worth living 🤍

@cafebonney I struggle with starting my tasks for the day, can you make me something that helps me with that?

Running a robotics competition in Ventura today. Teams traveled here from all over the country.
My co-founder Lucas has been competing in robotics since he was 14.
He hated how there weren’t any good competitions after high school so he made his own. He even mentors everyone who joins for months in the lead up to game day.
A lot of the advancements in robotics today still come from these hobbyists.
Competitions are the best way we know how to find and nurture this extremely important talent.
