@kaitlancollins what an absolutely legendary display of our country’s issues encapsulated in under 1 minute - the fear, the anger, the aggression, the inability to tolerate criticism, the lack of compassion, the lack of representation, the drama. truly sad and embarrassing.

@BrettKollmann I know nothing about all of the monopoly money, but said the same thing yesterday: he is a true WR1 and would transform that offense.

I wrote an op-ed for @nytimes about 2 exciting NYC Council bills. They address the dire public restroom shortage in the city. Chances are if you spent hours outside, you wouldn’t be able to locate a public restroom—there are only 8 per 100k ppl nationwide. Let’s change that!

P&G built a platform called "Great Ideas Generator" that uses Gen AI combined with all their internal data to generate marketing or advertising concepts. It's allowed them to "increase the number of concepts created tenfold" while "improving the quality in the ideation process"

You can't say Derrick Henry, Marshawn Lynch, LaDainian Tomlinson or Adrian Peterson. It's 4th and goal at the 1 and you need a TD ... what RB do you give the ball to? I'll start: Jerome Bettis

This is a crazy email. What I love about it: 1. Buy now, prices are going up! BUY BUY BUY! 2. We aren't raising prices because we want more money. It's because our costs will go up. We aren't greedy! What I don't love: 1. Very clear that we make our stuff in China. 2. I think they did as good a job as you can keeping politics out of this, but there is still a hint of politics in this. Would you send out an email like this? Disclosure: I love Jolie's founder, Ryan Babenzien. We're friends (or at least I hope he'd say that about us) :). I have no financial interest in his business though!

@Noahpinion It is simple, but not in this way. @FareedZakaria says it best: the split is really open vs. closed. “Do you want a world of open economics, open politics, open technology, open culture, diversity? Or do you want the opposite?”

Ribbon cutting next week - This will be one of the best parks in Jersey City + I’m very proud of our administration for seeing it through. Since 2007, “potentially” opening this place had been discussed with the goal of turning the old unused reservoir to a park/open space. However nothing ever moved. It was a big undertaking for our administration but the project is completed.

If the trend holds for the rest of this year, the U.S. homicide rate will be lower in 2024 than it was in 1950, when the rate was 5.1 per 100,000 people.

Joe Lonsdale of 8VC, who is trying to sell weapons to the US military via Anduril and other investments, needs to answer a lot of questions about who is financing him. Joe Lonsdale can start with explaining to Milwaukee Bucks fans the nature of his relationship with benefactor Richard Hsiao. --- Milwaukee Bucks fans have long asked, "Who is that Chinese kid who is always courtside at games pretending to be the coach?" The answer is that this is Richard Hsiao, founder of J17 Capital, one part of Xiao's money network in Canada centered around the WinnerMax real estate shell game. He is also believed to be a son of Chinese Communist Party bagman and money launderer Xiao Jianhua - Hsiao is merely an alternative Anglicized spelling of Xiao. J17 Capital is an investor in Andreessen Horowitz and in Joe Lonsdale's 8VC, actively pursuing defense contracts through Anduril and several other investments under an "American Dynamism" branding. Joe Lonsdale loves going on CNBC and screaming about the evils of the Chinese Communist Party. His counterparts at a16z - David Ulevitch and Katherine Boyle - also love screaming about the evils of the CCP. Yet they seem to be taking money from a thinly-veiled shell game out of Canada run by the family of Xiao, the bagman for the CCP. --- So what's the deal, Joe Lonsdale? Who is your benefactor Richard Hsiao of J17 Capital? Who is he really?

Three days ago, on August 1, 2024, I published a blog about Xiao Jianhua network venture capital firm J17 Capital and its fund-of-fund relationship with Joe Londsale of US firm 8VC. At the time, CCP money launderer Sky Lai (who operates in Canada) had on his LinkedIn account a list of all the firms he feeds downstream, including direct investment into crypto and NFT money laundering. Today, August 4, 2024, Sky Lai has removed the nature of his J17 Capital investments from his LinkedIn. He doesn't want you to know who he is feeding downstream. Joe Lonsdale has a lot he needs to answer considering he's selling (or trying to sell) weapons to the US government.
