The results for 2025 main portfolio [Alpha] below. Decided to make some changes to the portfolio names : 1. Back in 2017/18 - there were alpha, beta, gamma, which contains big tech, mid tech/SaaS and emerging tech companies. 2. After 8 years, they've evolved from FAANG to Magnificent 7. The SaaS as in industry also saw some level of consolidation. 3. A massive cull saw the reduction of 37 positions in early 2024 to just 22 4. For 2026, all of these "first gen" portfolio of stocks will now be under Alpha portfolio. 5. The rest of newer portfolios - Delta, Epsilon and Zeta will remain the same, Zeta being the income/dividend portfolio.

I know you bought $META on the dip and wondering why it’s not $1000 yet. Be patience the forecast growth have moved from 24.5 to 26% on a 10 year CAGR and should be realising its valuation once profit on AI is reported in their P&L in the next 12 months. Currently only ads efficiency are being reported and soon products like their ARVR glasses and LLM should convert soon. Take this moment for DCA simple accumulation. Data is always king!

@Thevesh That’s because BNM decided to stop issuing new RM1 and RM5 notes during festive seasons for the past many years already. Not a demand issue but a supply one.

Happy Lunar New Year everyone! To celebrate the day, here's a chart I have always found absolutely hilarious—showing is the value of currency in circulation in Msia for different notes (RM5, RM10, RM1, RM20). My favourite 3 things to point out from this chart are: 1. Chinese like red—even from 2016, there was a clear spike in RM10 notes at the start of every year, during CNY season! 2. Angpow inflation—before 2020, you can see 2 spikes per year for RM5 and RM1, during CNY and then Raya. After pandemic, RM5 and RM1 no longer spike during CNY, only during Raya! Implication = Many Chinese kids no longer accept anything below RM10? 😅 3. Duit Raya inflation—if you look at 2016-2020, you can see that the Raya spike for RM10 is lower than the CNY spike. But for the past 3 years, the Raya spike has been higher! So even though RM5 and RM1 still spike during Raya (btw, this also reveals something about relative income levels of Malay vs Chinese), clearly there is Duit Raya inflation as well! 😆 𝘗𝘚. The cleanest way to see how the market prices SaaS risk right now Forward EV/Sales vs NTM revenue growth tells a sharper story than headlines. Add GAAP operating margin, and the market’s preferences become obvious fast. High growth alone no longer earns a premium. Profitability decides who gets rewarded. Here’s what stands out from the chart: The regression line is doing the heavy lifting. Most SaaS names still cluster tightly around it, meaning valuation is broadly consistent with forward growth expectations. True outliers are rare, and when they appear, margins explain most of the gap. Green dots punch above their weight. Companies with operating margins above 5% consistently trade at higher EV/Sales for the same growth rate. Names like $PANW, $FTNT, $VEEV, $NOW quietly benefit from margin credibility. Fastest growers stand out immediately. $NET, $APP, $CRWD, $DDOG, $CYBR dominate the right side of the chart. Any growth deceleration hits valuation fast. Forward growth sets the ceiling. Operating margin decides how close a company gets to it. $PLTR was removed for readability. At ~45x forward EV/Sales with 60%+ estimated growth, it lives on its own axis.

Copying a portfolio is easy. Copying conviction is hard. I struggle with this too. You can borrow conviction for a while. But sooner or later, you must do your own work. Without your own research, you won’t size up. And if you do, you won’t sleep well. If you call yourself an investor, not a trader, but keep trading in and out, that’s low conviction. With real conviction, selling feels painful. Like cutting your own flesh.

I'm down 18% from October 2025 ATH, -10% YTD. Just another day in the markets. Volatility is a feature, not a bug. Just HoDL to the best companies in the world. Adding to $NOW $NFLX and $AIPO for my portfolio Epsilon. No trades for the Main Portfolio (alpha).

My tech heavy portfolio is down about 9% since the October 2025 high and its been moving side ways for much of December and January. No plans to sell anything from my main portfolio since there has been no significant changes to the portfolio thesis. Just sitting on my hands and waiting for the story to play out. On the other hand, I have been building up / adding to software names like $NOW as well as $NFLX, a bit of $META and energy related ETF like $AIPO for my portfolio Epsilon.

A merger between SpaceX and Tesla would instantly create the Berkshire Hathaway of the modern century. The capital raising and operational efficiencies if both were together are obvious. If this were to happen, it would also bring us one step closer to having one equity instrument for all things Elon which many would want to buy.
