Today marks a historic moment. nsave is now the first and only global financial platform supporting Syria. For 14 years, an entire nation was locked out of the global economy. Families watched savings vanish to inflation. Parents couldn't receive support from children abroad. A generation grew up without bank accounts. Starting today. Anyone, anywhere, can send money to Syria through nsave safely, quickly, and compliantly. In addition, Syrians living in Syria will be able to open USD accounts, send and receive funds globally, transact instantly with other nsave users, access savings, and withdraw funds locally. This has taken more than a year of work, deep compliance, patient partner-building, and a team that refused to give up on a mission many people thought was too hard. To everyone who joined the waitlist and waited patiently with us: all your transfers from nsave to Syria will be completely free for the next two weeks. Hi! Thanks for your question. Currently, nsave supports sending money to Syria via cash pickup only through National Islamic Bank Syria (NIB Syria) branches. Also, Syrian nationality is available in the latest version of the app. Please make sure to download the latest version of the app.

Fadi, we completely understand your concern and it is very valid. 🙏 While local cash pickup in Syria is currently in Syrian Pounds, the sender's funds remain safely held in USD inside their nsave account at all times. This means your savings are fully protected from currency fluctuations, only the final cash delivery step is converted to SYP. We hope this helps clarify things, and we truly hope you'll give nsave a chance. Your feedback is invaluable and pushes us to improve. 🇸🇾

@nsavecom ما يهمّنا فعلاً هو الحوالات المالية إلى سورية، تسليمها بالليرة السورية هو احتكار ظالم، خاصة وأن العملة السورية بتراجع مستمر، لا أعتقد بأنني سأقوم باستخدام الحساب كمحفظة، الهدف كان فقط الحوالات على أمل التسليم بالدولار، قمت قبل قليل بتسجيل حساب والآن سأقوم بحذفه. شكراً على الرد.

After doing this, an email OTP option will appear as an alternative so you can complete your registration without needing an SMS or WhatsApp code. Here's a breakdown: 🇸🇾 Syria: Cash pickups are handled through National Islamic Bank Syria (NIB Syria) branches. 🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia: We support payouts to all Saudi banks (SAR), so there's no restricted list, it works broadly across the entire Saudi banking network! @fadi0bed We completely hear you and this is a very valid concern. 🙏 Right now, local withdrawals in Syria are processed in Syrian Pounds through our local partners. However, your savings remain held in USD inside your nsave account, protecting them from local currency fluctuations.
