Many of those who lost everything in $UST are from countries with unstable currencies and governments seeking refuge in the promise of decentralised money. To call them non-believers is absolutely reprehensible. They never wanted astronomical returns - only stability.

I’m drunk enough to say this. If you believe that people who trusted in the same ecosystem as you but bought the safer instrument with their life savings because all they wanted was stability deserve less than a person speculating on a high growth instrument - you’re a cunt.

$LUNA and $UST Korean investors have filed both civil and criminal lawsuit against Do for committing fraud. They also filed to order a provisional seizure (freeze) of his assets. They are represented by legal firm LKB & Partners.

Let's guesstimate some numbers for the LUNA drop. 10% of the supply goes out to about $4.4b in old aUST. Assuming the new chain gains a value of $1.5b (total conjecture): - $5k in Anchor gets you $170.04 in new LUNA - $50k in Anchor gets you $1,170.04 in new LUNA Not much.

I want to unequivocally state I believe the LUNA/UST crisis to be a humanitarian disaster. Many of the most vulnerable lost everything on what was marketed as a low-risk savings account and they have reason to be upset. Do Kwon is not the devil but he must bear responsibility.

Has everyone packed their bags and left the space? Feels like crypto/DeFi is a little dead right now. Totally different energy/vibe compared to 3-4 months ago. It will be interesting to see how many players are left if the market continues like this for 1-2 years.

One major issue I have, though, is the fact that Do recognizes the LUNA inflation/crash issue (and thus the fact that people can scoop up cheap LUNA right now) so he does a pre-attack snapshot airdrop, but doesn't do the same pre-attack airdrop for UST savers who got in at $1.

There is no mention whatsoever of financial restitution or using TFL funds for the restitution plan that has gained community consensus and has been supported by Binance, Vitalik Buterin, and Justin Sun. UST holders were promised $1 and instead they're getting tokens. (5/7)
