This was every community in Canada only ten years ago in 2016.
It certainly was here in Sechelt.
Has this happened to your hometown @TimHortons ? When did you notice the transformation?

@BenRabidoux People that come to Canada to lie, cheat and scam are mad that someone is doing it to them. 🤷🏻♂️

@Prominent_Bryan At this point, they should just have passports in a vending machine at the airport.

What a joke
Just give the citizenship to everyone already. That's what a true post national state looks like, right?

@MarcLevesqueEco @BenMulroney How much are tariffs to blame when 95% of our exports are protected by CUSMA?
English

@BenMulroney Trudeau's immigration policy was a disaster. Granted. But that's over. It's been cut back. Interest rates are not high, the regulatory and tax burdens are not recent nor are they cyclical. None of that explains the job losses in January in February.
English

Well, I would say that self inflicted wounds have been exacerbated by tariffs: Population growth has outpaced job creation, high interest rates have slowed the economy, and regulatory and tax burdens have hampered the private sector from reaching its full job creating potential.

@BenMulroney I limit my comments to those who I follow. Otherwise I get flooded with insults from people hiding behind fake identities. I just followed you (the son of the best Canadian PM of all time), so you can now respond. Go ahead.

CANADA: "Can you pass me the salt?"
MARK CARNEY: "Oh, it's not that easy. Here is the Passing the Salt Act, which will allow the federal cabinet to override all civil and criminal laws, annul any governmental appointment without cause ... and pass the salt, maybe, with Indigenous consultation."

@DanielTyrie @rorycam85011089 Have you looked around Canada lately? Well on the way to becoming India 2.0
English

@YoungStreete @LoveMy7Wood Hes here to finish what Trudeau started and when his time is up, he will be on the first plane out of Canada. He has no intention of sticking round to live in the mess hes creating.

This latest floor crossing, to me, is a clear indication that while polls and MSM keep telling Canadians what a commanding lead Mark Carney and the Liberals have over Poilievre and the conservatives - it’s not true.
If internal polling showed that Carney could win a legitimate majority government, he’d call an election. He’d want that feather in his caps. Who wouldn’t?
Mark Carney’s legacy will not be a good one. 1 year in and he’s accomplished pretty much nothing and he’s seeking his majority government in a very undemocratic way.
Carney is a cunning, manipulative POS who, if given free reign, will make Canada unrecognizable and not in a good way, but the worst way possible.

@MarkJCarney The one time you set foot in your riding and its to suckhole to Muslims. What a surprise.

@Photomusicrock He’s one of the great artists of my time here on earth. From The White Stripes to The Raconteurs to The Dead Weather, to his solo work, he’s fantastic. I’ve seen TWS’s, Raconteurs, and Jack solo all in a live setting. Just need The Dead Weather to reform and tour!

@marissenmark It turns into Surrey at night. Its a long way from 'vibrant & well managed'.
English

Why not make this pedestrianization of Granville Street permanent?
We should do whatever it takes to make Granville Street the Lower Mainland’s premier entertainment district, welcoming families during the day and offering a vibrant, well-managed nightlife.
With the right design, programming, and safety measures, a pedestrianized Granville Street can become a destination the entire region is proud of.

Mayor Sim announces that during the 2026 World Cup, Granville St. between Davie and Georgia will be turned into a pedestrian zone. That means more open patios, fun for all ages, and an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the atmosphere of the games.

That’s not what I’ve read. I’ve read that most of these students register for school in Canada, and then disappear into our cities choosing to work instead. I see dozens of these 18 to 22 year old fake students at 7-Eleven, McDonalds, Tim Hortons and Walmart every day.
