@JonClodd @wesstreeting @Keir_Starmer Very true. If you give a bully your dinner money, he'll keep coming back for more
English

@wesstreeting @Keir_Starmer I think the funniest/saddest thing is that you thought these people were reasonable.
That when you patted yourselves on the back for stopping the strikes, that they wouldn't come back
You have worked among unionised public sector your whole life, and you never saw this coming?
English

The BMA seems surprised that if they reject the deal on offer and go on strike their members don’t get what the Government is offering.
We have time before Easter weekend to resolve this dispute.
A deal on jobs and pay is on the table.

@Giles_Richards Is it because you're nothing more thana troll?
The sad thing is there's a few of you asking stupid questions designed to provoke a negative response

English

@SteveReedMP You're full of shit. You were when you were Environment Secretary weasling out of cleaning river and you are as Housing Secretary taking credit for new towns which were planned TEN YEARS AGO

I visited this wonderful charity just a few years ago in happier times, and I’m heartbroken this attack has happened.
This is a racist crime and we will not tolerate it. Not as a government or a country. We all stand firmly with the Jewish community.
I’m grateful to the emergency services and we're working closely with the Met to ensure everyone stays safe.

Scotland rejects the division of Reform.
Nigel Farage must sack this poisonous candidate.

@RevArun I proudly voted Labour at the last election.
I'm not sure this mass prayer is right.
So now i'm "right wing"?
Less of the lazy labelling.

@liamrobinson24 Still won't be as many flares or trouble as the Liverpool FC parade you welcomed

English

@RMI_PRA Fuck off, you're gouging pure and simple. This shot up 20p a litre for petrol and even more for diesel overnight

English

We all get so much news, much of it fake. It is, however, really all about the conclusion and the “so what”? especially if an investor. Nutstuffs 3x weekly is exactly this. I look at news, themes , stock ideas and off the wall issues, and there is no clutter with advertising. It is short and very readable. I aggregate, originate and then conclude. My aim is very simple: to make my readers; question, think, laugh and of course make money from the market and stock ideas.

Heading home after a fascinating trip to Kyiv. Final chat with @MartaKosEU (Left) who is a formidable force of nature and Ukraine PM Yulia Svyrydenko who keeps an extraordinary sense of honour in tough times! New @RestIsPolitics out now on this dreadful war

English

@PeterStefanovi2 You seem surprised. If only you had been told what hypocrites Labour were.......

English

🚨 In opposition the Labour party strongly supported mandating swift bricks in new homes - that support included backing the swift brick amendment when it was tabled on Conservative government legislation in 2023.
Last November - in a move which shocked and left conservationists aghast - the Labour government used a three-line whip to vote down a House of Lords amendment to make the bricks mandatory for new buildings.
Help us send a message to Keir Starmer’s government that its time to SAVE OUR SWIFTS

Inflation has fallen to its lowest level in 10 months.
This means:
⛽️ A litre of petrol at its cheapest in around 5 years
🥩 Meat, bread & cereal dropped in price
Of course there’s more to do, but this Labour Gov will keep pressing down on high prices👇

It’s coming down! That’s down to @RachelReevesMP. Why isn’t @christopherhope acknowledging that? 2% is the BoE, CPI inflation target set by HMG and monitored by MCP. We will get there under the excellent stewardship of our outstanding @UKLabour Chancellor. Give credit, where due.
