@DamageJacque @csmaddox2008 @SLCPaladin Inflation has normalized, yes. But for many people, wages have not caught up or even close to it. Some data suggests that they have - but my read into that data is more along the lines of the rich get richer. Lower and middle class people are hurting.

Quentin Cook in yesterday’s conference talked about his family receiving a large box of anti-Mormon literature. He said something like: “The Spirit told me I already had a testimony so I didn’t need to read it.” This has been bugging me. It’s a message to never read anything else, to never see new evidence. It stops critical thinking. And make no mistake, if this is the message your kids get, they will eventually open up the doubt box and read it. I can’t help but think it would have actually been better if the story was how they read it, and then discussed the questions and faithful responses as a family.

@DogginTrump @piper4missouri I was partially homeschooled- In retrospect it wasn’t great. Having your personal biases challenged is critical during the teen years and that is hard to do at home. I had to teach myself math and that was part of the reason I really struggled when I went to college
