The Kingdom topped the group with 4 wins from 5, while @Doiregaa arrive in the Christy Ring Cup Final after beating Kerry in the last round. But history hangs over Derry...beaten in the last 3 finals. Can they finally end the heartbreak this weekend, or will @Kerry_Official finish the job?🏆

Heading to England in 5 & a half week's time, & the cost of @FlyLoganair flights frm @CoDerryAirport to Heathrow are insane. £140 or £250 to fly 1-way on the day I need. And look how expensive the whole month is. £89 now seems their lowest fare. And this is a SUBSIDISED route 😲

I am not criticising this specific article at all. I'm pointing out that we have past politicians, academics, journalists etc all dedicating time and resources to talking about something that could be a long way off — who are not honest about Stormont neglect of the west.

It is somewhat infuriating that lots of intellectuals predict what an economy might look like in the event of constitutional change, but they do not point out the obvious: If Stormont didn't treat NI like a one city state, then there would be significant growth in the west.

If Stormont saw beyond the self-imposed economic border that splits east and west in the North — the economy would grow significantly. If some politicians let go of the spiteful attitudes that prevent Derry from having a proper university — the economy would grow significantly.

In this article @EmmaCDeSouza sets out what Northern Ireland would bring to the table economically in the event of unification. Also, I think the economy in the North would grow faster within a New Ireland and would catch up over time :- the euro (cheaper mortgages and business loans), with the IDA and low corporate tax (more investment and jobs), with higher public sector pay and pensions (more money in people's pockets and in the shops etc) thejournal.ie/readme/united-…

Hundreds of days children have been displaced! They face hundreds more. The school applied in 2017! I'd like to know how money was allocated to upgrade pitches before this project was prioritised. NI has a broken education system & a capital works process wide open to abuse.

I genuinely believe that if this school was in a different sector in Derry/there was a Minister from a different party, then there would be widespread coverage. There would be outrage about this. As it happens, it's largely ignored and buried away.

REQUEST: Asking again if a parent of a St Eugene's pupil (or teacher) would like to speak out on this. While Nazareth House rightly spoke out about its similar predicament with a dangerous roof forcing it to close temporarily, St Eugene's has opted for a vow of silence.

🚨 A primary school building in Derry which had a roof “at risk of collapse” will remain closed for another year while essential works are carried out. By that point, children will have been displaced for more than 900 days. belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/northern-…
