It was all easily avoidable, but he chose the Major League movie route, and Manfraud + the other spineless owners let him go on with it so they can one day do the same if they want.

They sell all their players, The fans haven’t gone to any games in years because of how awful the team has been managed. Oakland is not a destination players wanted to play for, and the stadium was in one of the worst areas of any MLB stadium. My fault.
