I believe there's two levels of complexity. There's upfront complexity and in depth complexity. Crimson Desert has a lot of upfront complexity which creates a lot of friction for players. I agree with your take, and my point wasn't that simple upfront = easy game. The in depth complexity can still be very extreme. I mean just look at League Of Legends which we both played. It's an extremely simple game, but at the same time super complex. I enjoy games that have a very high skill level. Now I don't necessarily mind whether that's high skill floor + high skill ceiling or low skill floor + high skill ceiling. My above point was mostly about a trend I've seen in gaming lately. A lot of people want a low skill floor + low skill ceiling.

I finally understand why World Of Warcraft introduced 1 button combat mode Seeing all the complaints about Crimson Desert having too many buttons showcases a large percentage of current gamers A lot of people want everything super simple, easy and no challenges It seems to me that a lot of people play Video Games like they're a movie nowadays

@Kooriaisu Looked it up in the official rules you earn an additional 10 points for everything being painted, and in any tournament setting they must be painted. Casual yeah if your friends dont care then its all good lol.

I'd be far more into Warhammer if I didn't have to paint and assemble it (assemble not so bad), along with the rules also being very obscure and difficult to get into. Feels like the hobby is almost meant to gatekeep people from getting into it yet it's so wildly successful.

Jeff went into a bit more detail about his departure from Blizzard while he was working on Overwatch. He explained that Overwatch eventually became focused on making money as quickly as possible. According to one former CFO, Overwatch needed to hit a specific revenue target (X amount of money). If it did not the company would lay off 1000 people and Jeff would be responsible.

I've had quite a few people questioning my numbers. "No way you sold 250k units with only 600 reviews!" 1) Steam splits reviews into your selected language(s) once you reach 2k+ reviews. 2) The review : sales ratio nowadays seems to be closer to 1 : 100 - 150 at 1k+ reviews.

Watched War Machine on Netflix and it’s made me really want a new age Starship Troopers type movie / franchise where it’s a future militarized earth vs some alien invasion / war.

@Divineheresy88 Because it’s bait. It sounds cool, having something apply damage on your ultimate is cool. Then reality hits when you realize this is the worst bang for your buck in terms of gold investment.

This has been the least adaptable item in all of league of legends. Never have I seen anything as useless as this item go season after season with no changes.

@DwayneHart_ If two out of 150+ champs can make use of an items potential it’s a shit item.

@oElementz Historically pretty good on champs like ahri and aurora, sometimes even leblanc. "Useless" seems to go a bit too far it I'd agree that champs favouring this over ludens, roa or blackfire tend to have a very distinct profile
