We visited Kabalega International airport, last Sunday. I commend the NRM Government for this strategic vision that will promote our oil industry and facilitate AFCON. The airport is almost ready for use. I was also happy to meet some young men from Northern Uganda who are guarding the airport.

I’m glad that Hon. @masabakarim declined to be bullied. This style of presiding over the House MUST stop. Parliament should not function as a rubber stamp. “Honourable” is not merely a title, it is a standard of conduct that must be upheld when presiding over the House. @ObothOboth

Our comrade Christopher Gody, aka King Zale, was abducted by armed soldiers from Kamwokya on 21st April. His abduction took place in the presence of many witnesses. Our legal team filed a Habeas Corpus application, which was finally granted by the High Court on 29th May. Now, the police and military have both filed before the court, denying the existence of Zale in any of their detention facilities. Of course, they have done this in all other cases, including that of our two deputy presidents, who they eventually dumped at police stations. Court orders treated with so much contempt and disregard! #FreeUgandaNow

The spinal disc that was carefully fixed during the delicate spinal code surgery was dislocated during the horrific torture he endured in the Muhoozi basement. To easy pain, he is supposed to under go physiotherapy sessions that can only be effectively managed after an MRI scan which of course isn’t in prison. It breaks my heart seeing counsel Lukwago in so much pain and helpless. Today he is visibly weaker, more frail, and fading much faster than just last Thursday when he was last in court. Her Excellency the Vice President @jessica_alupo led a Cabinet visit to the Albertine Graben to review the progress of Uganda’s flagship oil projects.
