This NY Times Article is either fiction or evidence of treason in the White House. War planning is an extreme level of classified. The details here show at least one person has violated their oath to the Constitution. The piece actually shows highly professional planning and good advice in a process that assessed facts and contained no improper influence. The leaders all played their roles properly and the President made an informed and clear-eyed decision. If anything this shows a White House operating exactly as Americans should want. Even if people disagree with the decisions they were made as the system is expectred to work. But none of this should be public knowledge and the sources for the NTY must be identified and punished for their faithless betrayal. nytimes.com/2026/04/07/us/…

@magi_jay Now they are joining the "J-pilled" GOP in blaming Israel for (somehow) "dragging Trump into this war." It's Israel's fault that Trump did this, not their fault for voting for Jill Stein and enabling Trump to come to power.

Also, they don't just help Republicans. They help Bibi Netanyahu, Ben Gvir, Smotrich, & Hamas. At some point after a protest movement goes on for a while, we can ask, "What has the outcome been?" In terms of Bibi Netanyahu, the Western protest movement=less accountability.
scary lawyerguy@scarylawyerguy

The pro-Palestine "left" is a ratfucking enterprise to help Republicans. Cannot tell you how many cope responses I get from their ilk when I point out that Trump is about 1000x worse than Biden or Harris on Israeli/Palestinian issues. They'll never admit they were wrong.

Michael A. Cohen (NOT TRUMP’S FORMER FIXER)
No one seriously questions that Israel influenced US on the Iran War … it’s the argument they we went to war because of Israel or that Israel dragged us into the war or that ultimately it wasn’t Trump’s decision but rather Netanyahu’s. Those arguments rely on anti-Semitic tropes and if you don’t get that then maybe don’t pontificate on what is or isn’t antisemitism. Additionally you could just listen to Jews and not lecture us about what will cause more antisemitism, because you’re out of your depth.
Tim Miller@Timodc

People keep telling me its anti-semitic to say Israel influenced US on Iran war. Now we learn Bibi made a "hard sell" in sit room on 2/11. Think telling people not to believe their eyes will cause more anti-semitism than being honest about Bibi influence. nytimes.com/2026/04/07/us/…

@jbarro The left blaming Trump's madness in any way on Israel is worse than Joe Kent blaming the war on Israel because his Fuhrer could not have made such an error but for Israel (by which he means the Jews). You know Trump is insane.

@jbarro Netanyahu has pressed successive US governments hard to go to war with Iran. Zelensky pressed successive US governments to defend Ukraine. Both presidents are persuasive. Trump listened to 1 and not the other. Why? Because Trump.

The Israelis should be punished for this, and there is no reason for a Democratic presidential candidate to suggest we will lift one fucking finger for them after the shit they have pulled boosting the Republicans and then inducing our idiot president into launching their war

@hahussain NATO ally means a nation that is committed to defend a fellow NATO member *if they are attacked.* NATO members have no obligation to "defend" a fellow member who starts a war. But you knew that.

1. France sided at Security Council with Russia and China against U.S., UK and everybody else. Again, what does a NATO ally even mean? 2. Blocking UN authorization of Gulf countries to defend themselves against Iranian attacks vindicates U.S. and Israel not going through UN or NATO to beat the troublemaking Islamist Iran regime. International law and UN don’t work. NYT: Russia, China and France on Thursday effectively stymied a push by Arab countries to get the United Nations Security Council to authorize military action against Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, saying they opposed any language authorizing force, according to a diplomat and a senior U.N. official. The actual vote on the resolution, which was drafted by Bahrain with the support of the Arab countries in the Persian Gulf, is expected to be scheduled for Friday. But it remained unclear whether extra hours of diplomacy would bring the three veto-holding countries on board.
