@ArvindNedumaran @ReadOffline We put databases, Redis, and ElasticSearch in Docker, but not the main dev environment. Need those dependencies in Docker to run multiple versions for different projects on the same machine though.

We've switched all our dev setups to localhost. Not only can it have subdomains, but it's also a secure context by default, so you don't need any SSL cert to use all the features that depend on that. We just reserve a specific port per app. So good, so simple.

5 minutes in 🇺🇾 Uruguay and already ALL my cards just work on all the apps here
In Argentina, no cards worked with Uber or Pedidos Ya (food delivery app) or Rappi
Same apps in Uruguay (but you have to switch country and they're diff legal entities) they work instantly 👍

Payment problems in Argentina continued... No food delivery app will accept any of our cards, not Revolut, not Wise, not even Brazilian cards Weirdly the main delivery app of Argentina seems to only allow other LatAm countries to order (not even Brazil) I was able to skip through the phone step by using hotel phone but even then payment card isn't accepted inb4 Americans "use credit card" fyi most of world doesn't use credit card, all fintechs like Revolut and Wise are debit, the credit/debit diff doesn't rly exist outside US/LatAm
