To answer some angry questions: yes I do have principles, and one of them is that it's a very bad idea to put serious opinions on Twitter. So you may as well stop haranguing me for them. All I'm saying is: there is no need to bully a sweet, jolly quizzer for playing a TV quiz.

46 years ago tonight we rocked up on a convoy of FIzzy’s at Tiffany’s in Purley for the local leg of the Clash Sort It Out Tour. If I remember rightly they opened with Safe European Home and then blasted their way through two hours of pure energy. Days of our lives.

I watched that Louis Theroux meets Bear Grylls documentary tonight, it was entertaining but the main thing I have taken away from it is that Bear Grylls claims to have not done a fart for three years.
