@thetrainline the planned industrial action tomorrow, are we expecting normal service after 7 am or are cancellations after this time still likely? Unsure if I should travel.

@thetrainline Thanks James. WMR are advising not to travel, and being stranded is a concern. If we abandon the journey due to strikes are we eligible to a full refund, as these were booked before the knowledge of strikes.

@WestMidRailway Thanks. Concerned as leg is multiple carriers and some are more understanding than others. I'll drop an email over for refund of WMR leg.

@WestMidRailway Thanks Ben. Tickets are via Trainline. Any barriers with refunds via third party? We'll drive, save the headache.

@BritishGasHelp Your online chat is hopeless. Clearly explained the situation and still no understanding. Explained again - nothing.

@Keir_Starmer My mum was diagnosed with cancer and died a week later. When we called the ambulance when she was ill they refused to convey her to hospital. I will never vote Labour again.

I lost my brother to cancer. I was with him when he was told his diagnosis - a moment I will never forget. Throughout, the NHS respected and cared for him. When he passed away, it hit me like a bus - even though I knew it was coming. I'm determined that every person diagnosed with cancer gets the best possible chance of beating it. Our National Cancer Plan is the most ambitious in a generation. It means earlier diagnosis, slashing waiting lists and investing in cutting-edge technology to build an NHS fit for the future.

@AskNationwide Thank you. All sorted now. Your bereavement team were kind, compassionate, and quickly fixed the error that was on their side and apologised. While there was an error - really good customer service to resolve.

@AskNationwide We have requested to release funds to my account on Thursday from my mothers account who passed away recently. In branch they were unsure how long this would take to get the funds, any idea? We did not provide an invoice as it wasn't asked.

It wouldn't decrease take-home pay, as the employee's 4% contribution (£1,480 on £37,000) falls below the £2,000 cap. This means full National Insurance relief remains via salary sacrifice, preserving the current NI savings of about £118 (at 8% rate). Employer contributions aren't directly affected for employee take-home.
