In a collaborative effort to strengthen border disease surveillance and screening, the Ministry of Health expresses its gratitude to IGAD for their invaluable support in various projects.
This new partnership will see IGAD providing assistance to the ministry by conducting specialized training programs for health workers stationed at the border. The initiative builds upon the longstanding history of fruitful collaboration between Kenya and IGAD.
Today, Cabinet Secretary for Health, Nakhumicha S. Wafula, warmly welcomed Fatuma Adan, IGAD's Head of Mission in Kenya, to discuss the potential impact of their joint efforts on public health.
