@NevilleHarris88 I think the venues & promoters are fully to blame. Telling artists they’re booking them in bigger venues and thinking fans will shell out for it doesn’t work anymore. If the LN/TM breakup goes through you’re going to see a lot more independent venues and smaller tours.

I can’t remember a time where the live music ticket market dumped this hard, this fast This headline makes it sound like it was a simple misread by the artists but I don’t think so Happening with every single band or artist I follow, arena tour or not. No one has money.

I went to Trump’s rally in the Bronx yesterday. People came out from Greater NY, New Jersey and some local. Their biggest grievances: Biden stole the election, the pipeline was shut down that’s why gas prices, Covid denial. Also trans kids and immigrants are ruining the country. Also we aren’t doing enough for Israel🤪

Second of all, all my music’s registered w/BMI, so it does nothing to protect them by limiting the artists. And I’mma make that BMI Live money, so my setlists are uploaded to BMI after every show.

@Threefourteen When I was in a band in STL, at Crusin’ 66 they made us sign a contract that we wouldn’t play any cover songs and if we did, we’d pay the fine. Because an ASCAP rep came and threatened them for having cover bands 😣

@dgoold Probably should update the headline to better reflect that. Right now it reads pretty clickbait-y, like you intended to upset fans cause you knew the “six-man rotation” line would get their jimmies ruffled.

The comments on this story that believe it's - about the Cardinals having six starters - when it's actually about - Cardinals needing/using six starters to avoid a trap they fell into last season - is quite revealing.
