Hindu Canadians (whose roots trace back to India) have been attacked, and places of worship have been vandalized by Khalistani extremists while advancing their anti-India hate agenda. No matter how much they try to hide it, the Khalistani ideology is rooted in hatred, bullying, and violence. Their anti-India agenda has been widely used against Hindu Canadians. I am extremely disappointed that the court has refused to put a stop to Al-Quds Day, which has long been a venue for antisemitism, hatred, intimidation and the glorification of terrorism. While the judge cited Canada's Charter of Rights and Freedoms, when we talk about rights we need to be clear that every person has the right to safety and security. We need to be clear that no one in Canada has the right to incite violence or free licence to intimidate and hate. The judge also said that Toronto Police Service do not need an injunction to preserve the peace. That's unbelievable! If that's the case, I fully expect that the police will immediately intervene at the first sign of hate, violence or glorification of terrorist organizations. I won't stop working to put an end to the hatred and division that runs too rampant on Canada's streets. I won't stop working to protect the greatest province in the greatest country in the world.

🚨 Time to Recognize the Khalistan Movement as a Terrorist Movement. The UK government-commissioned Bloom Review delivered a clear warning: “Extremely vocal and aggressive pro-Khalistan extremists operate in the UK, promoting a separatist agenda and inciting intimidation and violence.” The report stresses that such extremist activism has no place in British public life and that governments must avoid legitimizing these networks through political engagement. This raises a bigger question for Western democracies. If an official #UK review has already flagged Khalistani extremism as aggressive and dangerous, why haven’t countries like #Canada and the #US taken stronger steps to confront it? Canada, in particular, has become a major hub for pro-Khalistan activism, with repeated incidents of intimidation, threats, and radical propaganda targeting critics. The shooting that took place at the U.S. consulate early this morning is an absolutely unacceptable act of violence and intimidation aimed at our American friends and neighbours. I’m glad to see that the Toronto Police are investigating and I expect that police at all levels will bring every resource to bear to find the people who did this. Everyone at all levels of government and across Canada needs to make clear that there is zero tolerance for this sort of intimidating and dangerous behaviour, and that we will do whatever it takes to prosecute and punish the people responsible to the fullest extent of the law.
