Today’s choice of reading. I’ve always loved reading but when it’s prescribed, the joy can become somewhat inhibited. I still continued to read after my degree as a youngster because you can never read enough. It not only feeds the brain: It can be illuminating & it’s cheap! 😂

@oftheVotadini Wrong! I love anything history related. I did a degree in English Literature/Language and it naturally involved history. I have always loved history, particularly local history. Please keep me posted about anything you find, relating to the North East.

@oftheVotadini Sparky, my house is like a library! I bought a succession of IKEA Billy Bookcases simply to accommodate the books I’ve read/acquired. I did fall out of love with reading for a few years but books & music will always have a place in my heart. You’re a like-minded soul, I suspect.

Finally read:”Nobody’s Girl”. It’s an exhausting and rather disturbing account of indescribable sexual depravity but the soul and courage of VRG emanates so profoundly. Justice, sadly, never truly prevails. But it should never diminish those who seek to keep fighting. 💙
