Here's how it actually works. An injection station might have the capacity to distribute 15 megawatts. But if TCN only allocates 5 megawatts to that station, that's all it has to work with. The capacity means nothing without the allocation. Communities receive power through feeders. One feeder alone can consume up to 5 megawatts. So a station receiving only 5 megawatts has to split that across all its feeders. That's load shedding. Each feeder gets a rotation, sometimes 4 hours or more depending on the band level assigned to that community. So when your area has no light, it's not always a local fault. The problem starts at the top with how much power TCN is sending down in the first place.
