@thisismahmoud @Railway Not that you are asking but imo that sidebar looks too much like render.com’s sidebar and incase it’s not obvious it’s not a compliment (sorry!)

@ogirginc (Also are you aware that we have Slack Pro on for the next ~3 or 4 days?)
English

@nateberkopec I still wish that there was a way to pay Slack for our own access to get full history! 🥲

@ogirginc Fizzy has an events system. I’ll take a look through it and cover it in more detail. They don’t use delegated types, which is too bad because I’d love to see more of their production code that uses that pattern.

@nateberkopec @brian_scanlan My optimal setup is my laptop lying on my office bed lol

Deeply unconvinced anyone with more than one monitor is effective at what they do.
Same belief holds with terminal windows, browser tabs, and life partners.
Dharanshi@dharanshi_
as a developer, how many monitors is enough?

We did RAG early on then unshipped it for a number of reasons: privacy, security, reliability, index staleness. Overall, we found that agentic search gave better results with fewer tradeoffs. If you prefer RAG, we recommend an MCP like Souregraph, or just ask Claude to build a code index for you.

@AdvicebyAimar This is a great observation. Maybe you are the new Steve Jobs? I nominate you. Or me? (since I noticed you being the previous Steve Jobs)
English

comparing the guy who vibe coded on top of claude code to steve jobs is crazy.

The Mostly Technical podcast by @aarondfrancis and @IanLandsman has quickly become one of my favorite podcasts. Especially love listening to Aaron share both his wins and failures and all the business experiments. Highly recommend it.

@nateberkopec My only problem with them is the Datadog integration. If I understand it correctly, it’s not a straight forward one!

it's just @raindrop_ai, @LangChain, and (for data warehouse and unit tests) Brain Trust.

@enunomaduro @levelsio Many smaller logical pieces is absolutely easier for claude to deal with.
English

.@levelsio genuinely curious: for AI coding tools like Claude Code, is it easier to understand one giant index.php with thousands of lines vs a split codebase with hundreds of smaller files?
English

@mdiebolt Not sure if they use in Fizzy but if they do:
- Delegated types (recordable)
- Events
