@Brightgoldenboy The percentage of the good Police Officers is a failed percentage. 5% out of a hundred 100% is a failed mark. Deal with it! 💔

Young Police Officer Commended for Returning Lost Bag to Owner A young police officer attached to the patrol unit of the Delta State Command of the Nigeria Police Force, Sergeant Happy Atibaka, has been commended for demonstrating honesty and professionalism after recovering and returning a lost bag belonging to a resident. The incident reportedly occurred during a routine patrol operation when the officer discovered an unattended bag containing valuable personal belongings, including two mobile phones, a large sum of money, jewellery, and other important items. Rather than ignoring the discovery, the officer immediately took steps to identify and trace the rightful owner. Sergeant Happy Atibaka, in the company of ASP Eko and Sergeant Ogwu Chisom, later returned the bag intact to its owner, who expressed deep appreciation to the police authorities for the officers’ integrity and commitment to duty. The owner described the gesture as a rare display of honesty deserving of public recognition and encouragement. The development has attracted commendation from members of the public, who noted that such acts help strengthen public confidence in the Nigeria Police Force. Residents also praised the officers for setting a positive example of responsible policing and service to humanity. Observers have called on the leadership of the Force, including the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, the Delta State Command, and other relevant stakeholders to continue rewarding officers who distinguish themselves through integrity, discipline, and dedication to public service.

EFCC Sets the Record Straight on UUTH Incident Following the impassioned reaction of Nigerians to a recent incident at the Uyo University Teaching Hospital, UUTH, involving operatives of the Uyo Zonal Directorate of the Commission and some staff of the hospital, the Commission is constrained to issue further clarification concerning the episode. The presence of the Commission’s Operatives in the facility on Tuesday, May 12th, 2026 was purely administrative, to facilitate the authentication of a document, rather than a tactical operation to effect arrest. Contrary to the information making the rounds, no arrests were made and the staff of the hospital that followed our operatives to the Zonal Command were not detained. The Commission is outraged by the allegations of brutalisation of staff of the hospital. Even though we have not seen any physical evidence of such brutality in terms of bodily harm or injury to anyone, including to the staff members who addressed the media on this issue, the Commission as a responsible organisation, has ordered an investigation into the incident. While awaiting the outcome of this inquiry, any staff of the Commission found to have deviated from the Standard Operating Procedure of the Agency, will not be spared. The Commission acknowledges stakeholders who have shown concern in the amicable resolution of the issue and ,once again, reassures the public, including medical staff of the UUTH, that the May 12th incident was an aberration and should not be allowed to be exploited by some fifth columnists to undermine the fight against corruption in Nigeria. The EFCC recognizes the rights of every Nigerian and will continue to pursue its mandate without distraction or encroachment on the inalienable right of anyone.

@PoliceNG_CRU @TunjiDisu1 @CspIniedu @tony_placid To avoid Nuhu Usman repeat, sanction the officers and transfer them out of Anambra State. They are now too comfortable and criminally aligned with some local criminals to aid their activities. Transfer them far away from any state close to Anambra State. My simple suggestion!

@PoliceNG_CRU @CspIniedu @tony_placid @aleeygiwa @PoliceNG @AnambraPolice This is not complete at all and we don’t accept this hide and seek games from Anambra Police Command. Where are the officers that tortured the 2 young boys and extorted them and their families of over 170k, with life threatening threats and trauma the young boys faced in their detention uncompleted building in the Ogidi Police Station? Those officers and their DOO should be in Abuja IGP office by now, facing the orderly room trial, responding to queries. The refunded money is an evidence that this truly happened and should not be swept under the carpet by all concerned. “Most times, whenever I receive reports of police extortion in Anambra State, all I need is the particular unit involved and the transaction receipt. Once I contact the officers, they usually refund the money. But this particular case is different, and I will post it on social media because it is terr!ble. These officers in Ogidi have allegedly caused a lot of harm. This same young man and his twin brother were reportedly shøt by the same police officers during an alleged accidental discharge incident. His twin brother di€d instantly, while he survived.” — Kasie speaks out. According to Kasie, the incident first happened in March when he and his late twin brother went to Ogidi Junction at night to buy something. He claimed police officers were having issues with some people nearby when stray b¥llets allegedly hit both him and his brother. His brother reportedly d!£d instantly, while he survived the shøøting. Kasie further alleged that on Saturday, May 9, 2026, he went out with his distant cousin at the same location when they were double-crossed by police officers, who allegedly forcefully collected their motorcycle and phones and demanded ₦200,000. According to him, the officers later reduced the amount to ₦10,000. However, while he went to withdraw the money, his cousin was allegedly asked to pay ₦20,000. The cousin reportedly began making calls for help, and the situation escalated after the officers allegedly caught him recording them. Kasie claimed the officers then ass#ulted the young men and later demanded ₦200,000 again, before they eventually paid ₦170,000. But later formatted the young men phones
