Thanks for your Thought which is lucid as always. But I have different thought pattern which I outline below 1. Atiku/Obi Ticket can not defeat Bola Tinubu with about 30 or more Governors supporting him and the mercenary of the state at his disposal. This is because the Atiku/Obi ticket will all be about politics with no extra mass base drive which is needed to stand against the political tools that will be deployed. In other words, if politics is the only drive, you can be rest assured that Atiku will not 'out-politics' Bola Tinubu. Also, Atiku/Obi ticket lacks the element of surprise which means that APC had already made plans on how to defeat that ticket. You must have been seeing people say that ADC was formed by Atiku and for Atiku. That feeling alone has been alienating many Obidients and I dare say some Members of the CPC block who believes that they are not mere appendage to the coalition initiative. 2. Peter Obi/Northern VP candidate(preferably choosing by Atiku and his Camp) will defeat Bola Tinubu easier than anybody would envisage because; a) It will bring up the hope of a possible victory that will inspire hope for victory and a movement for Peter Obi that will make the 2023 Obidient wave a child's play. If you recall, in 2023 with LP, all political analysts were basing their analysis of Obi getting less than 1 million votes because there were no known political heavyweights behind Peter Obi. With Atiku, El-Rufai and co standing solidly behind Obi candidacy, it will inspire most Obidients that have left the group or lost interest in politics to comeback. Many Nigerians in Diaspora will fly in to this country to register and to vote. For South East and South South, that Ticket will force this decamped APC governors to start negotiating to save their own seat self. This is because everybody wants to identify with a possible winning team and with Peter Obi in ADC, they get that and the believe most Nigerian youths have that Peter Obi will do something different to herald a New Nigeria. b) Obi as the flag bearer will be the biggest unpredictable move that ADC can play and it will come with all elements and benefits of Surprise. As we say, their eyes go first blurr. Tinubu and APC will understand that having Governors except through outright rigging will not save them in any of the 11 states of SE $ SS. Ofcourse you know that Tinubu major plan is not to defeat Atiku outrightly in the 13 states of NE & NW. With Obi as a surprise, Tinubu will now start strategising on huge victory in those zones which won't be easy at all knowing that the Northern masses are already fed up with his anti people policies. The political bigwigs in ADC will focus on the major issues of reducing APC rigging and making sure that they are agents in all pooling units in Nigeria as @AbdulMahmud01 has been campaigning c)Comparing Atiku potential endorsement of Obi to Peter Obi endorsement of Moghalu is false equivalence. If Atiku endorses Obi, many diehard supporters of Atiku will know that it came from a personal sacrifice of a lifetime dream. It would indeed inspire people in the whole of North to know and believe that for Atiku to sacrifice his dream for Presidency, that means many things are now at stake and that his love for the country is bigger than his personal interest. I expect that it will produce a clear victory for ADC in Adamawa and many other states. Let me stop here and believe that ADC will do the needful
