@bradanlane I did a similar setup a long time ago and the addition of top and bottom mounted fans helped considerably with cools down

Another insane machining job by @BreakingTaps really pushing the limits on conventional CNC machined high density porous glass ILIS emitters! Going from 81 tips to 225 emitter tips, this is some really wild stuff! Absolutely fantastic job, can't wait to start firing ILIS again!

Testing a denser array for @Applied_Ion ILIS thruster: these are just 0.2mm wide, 0.8mm tall and hopefully 60-80um tip diameter. Definitely a lot more fragile at this aspect ratio and size, a few broke off completely and a good percentage have blunted tips. Encouraging though!

very smol seven segment LCD display
This is a fingertip-sized 7-segment display, so cute! we're driving it here directly with gpio pins from a qtpy samd21 chip, which, according to the internet is Not Something One Does -

@bradanlane Yeah, I tried reflowing with these and always got cold joints. Higher temps could reflow but would melt/destroy the ics
