Let's ask men if they would rather be lost in the woods with an aggressive Grizzly bear lurking in the woods or with a random woman. I think the results may be a bit surprising. I'd wager most men would rather tough it alone with the bear because the average woman would be more trouble to haul around to safety.

Kids meet a 101 year old woman, the interaction is sublime. Imagine everyone you've ever known that was older than you, and all of your own children, being dead. Yet, she never focused on such matters, her secret to living a long and healthy life—is common sense.

This is how loyalty is repaid, what’s the point anymore especially when you have your whole life destroyed. What kind of message does that send to every honest worker out there?

Back in March, our team at Vale Wildlife Hospital were called out to a playground in Bishops Cleeve after a concerned member of the public spotted frogs trapped beneath one of the in-ground trampolines. On arrival, we discovered three frogs stuck underneath. Our Care Assistant carefully worked to retrieve them, but sadly there were also the remains of at least one other frog 🥺. After a quick assessment, we’re pleased to say the three survivors were fit enough to be released safely nearby. We have since reached out to the company responsible for the trampolines and their maintenance, hoping to help prevent this from happening again - but unfortunately, we’ve yet to receive a response🥺. This is why we’re sharing this post. If your local park has built-in trampolines like these, please take a moment to check underneath them. Our landscapes are already incredibly challenging for wildlife to navigate - the least we can do is look out for them where we can🐸.
