I was on meds for severe stomach ulcers and now drink green cabbage juice whenever I can feel things starting to flare. Absolute miracle worker that keeps ulcers from forming and has allowed me to use NSAIDs again (and kick the ulcer meds).

@Geek_Kelly @kingdomofwench @Esqueer_ @AnaMardoll Yup. NSAIDs caused (permanent) gerd, ulcer. Tylenol/paracetamol caused acute liver failure. Gabapentin didn't really help, then caused night vision to decline. I use non-med methods, but still need meds on the regular.

It was interesting how many articles I read that didn’t mention the joke. You’re just supposed to trust the hysterical ninnies that something really bad happened.

I find that a lot of anti-socialist sentiment boils down to a basic belief that people are lazy and won’t do good in the world or work hard unless they are suffering. I believe the opposite. I think most people would do amazing things if they weren’t in dire straits constantly.
