first week in years I haven't reached for tmux completely switched to herdr by @lumendriada — the ergonomics, the information architecture, the hackability all just click my biggest gripe with every coding agent orchestrator I've tried (and I've tried 10+): if you're building a pretty UI - they're sluggish, you need to "import projects", not as snappy as tui tools, and the setup isn't portable to remote machines if you're building a multi terminal manager - agent runs get buried (i finish a task, walk away, come back, and now i'm scrolling through panes trying to find where it happened), and they still somehow make the UI around the terminal feel sluggish herdr is the best mix of: - native tui launched from terminal, no separate desktop app - dedicated spaces + agents view - finished session? one jump. no need to scan - super easy to extend new features (I forked the main project to build full screen panes, ctrl+k quick switcher, navigation mode) - works with ssh for remote coding agents - i can get pi to spin up multiple new herdr panes and visually see the new agent runs haven't felt this level of flow state in a tool since early cursor (not sponsored, but wish I was)

Here's a funny story. When me and my friends went out drinking in one of the most expensive cafes here in Switzerland, I paid for all of them. In the end two of my friends paid me back on @whop . I was just able to put in the amount, show the QR code, and they paid me directly on there. This is definitely the future of payments.

Excited to share what we are building -- Genie experience grounded in real-world street view. Try it out at labs.google/fx/projectgenie
Google@Google

Project Genie is a @GoogleLabs experiment that lets you simulate dynamic worlds you can navigate in real time with Genie, our general-purpose world model. Today, we’re connecting Project Genie to nearly 20 years of Street View data from Google Maps — so you can now build interactive spaces based on real-world locations. Street View imagery in Project Genie is available now for places in the U.S., and will expand to more locales over time. #GoogleIO

I added @whop as a payment provider for TrustMRR (beta). Can you try it out and let me know? I don't have Whop credentials, so it's very likely to break, but I'll fix it!

i don't hate terminals but i hate complexity of tmux/zellij har session management w/ attach/detach rituals + resurrection plugins + naming sessions 🤢 it's a part-time job just to not lose your layout / tabs. burned 40-50 hours trying every multi-agent manager out there, including stuff from my YC-backed friends are actively shipping. forked even some of them but nothing fully clicked to my workflow. turns out all i wanted was already sitting inside one terminal window. vs tmux/zellij: - mouse first, click anything (right click too) - zero shortcuts to memorize (native shortcuts) - custom keybinds if you want them (fully configurable) - rename tabs + spaces inline (⌘+L / ⌘ + K / ⌘ + 1..9) - single window = a lot less RAM / CPU usage - stability and rendering are world-class - ⌘+Q anytime. state saved. re-run it later (even on ssh) and everything's exactly where you left it. no plugins, no two step shortcuts, just works out of box (i've shared my keyboard bindings if you wanna combine with ghostty) then i wired it into ghostty with a custom installer. cmd+t, cmd+n, chrome-style tab cycling and number-jumping, all native. drop-in cmux replacement. finally feels like macos to me. video below. my ⌘-based shortcut installer in reply ☠️

i love ghostty terminal and have been using it for a few years now.. but i need vertical tabs. started using cmux (built on libghostty) cmux.com still use ghostty for one-off things but any tabs i'm going to keep around for a long time i prefer in cmux now
