I once got disqualified from a job because I said I couldn’t postpone my Zuhr prayer till after work.
They asked: “What if you’re too busy? Please leave that prayer till after work.”
I said: “No matter how busy work gets, I can’t delay my prayer, sir.”
And honestly, I still left with peace in my heart because I can’t sacrifice my salah for work

@instablog9ja This is a clear indication that the beneficiaries were not actually those in need of the money but selected few

2027: NELFUND Beneficiary Students in Anambra Donate ₦10.7m, Endorse Tinubu for Second Term
Beneficiaries of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) in Anambra State have endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term and donated ₦10.7 million towards his 2027 expression of interest form.
The students made the presentation on Friday at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam campus, saying the gesture was in appreciation of the loan scheme’s impact on access to higher education and the easing of financial burdens on students.
Chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Students Joint Campus Council in Anambra, Ifeanyichukwu Chukwuemeka, said, “We, the beneficiaries of NELFUND scheme, are collectively endorsing President Bola Tinubu for a second term in office.”
He added that the ₦10,735,500 donation was a “symbolic expression of gratitude” for Tinubu’s educational reforms and youth-focused policies.

My husband di£d… then his elder brother asked me to have a child for him. When I refused, my mother-in-law told me to either agree or leave the family.
“Four months after I stopped wearing my mourning clothes, my husband’s elder brother called and said he wanted to speak with me. I agreed, but made it clear I wouldn’t return to the village. He said he would come to see me instead, and I accepted.
When he arrived, I wasn’t prepared for what he was about to say. He told me he wanted me to have a child for him. I was shocked and immediately asked why. He explained that he and his wife had been unable to have a child for 17 years, and that he wanted me to bear one for him.
I asked again, “Why me?”
His answer was simple—because he wanted it to be me.
I refused. I told him clearly that I couldn’t do such a thing. No matter how much he pleaded, I stood my ground. I explained that I could not have children for two brothers in the same family. It didn’t feel right to me, and I wasn’t going to agree to it. He became angry and left my house.
That same evening, my mother-in-law called and said she wanted a family meeting. I agreed and went to the village. When I arrived, she didn’t waste time. She asked me directly, almost harshly, “Why did you refuse to have a child for my son?”
I was taken aback. I responded, “Why would I have a child for two brothers in the same family?”
She replied that it was simply because she said so.
When I told her again that I wouldn’t do it, she gave me an ultimatum: either I agree, or I leave the family.
At that moment, I didn’t hesitate. I felt disrespected and pressured into something I could never accept. So I made my decision.
I said, “Fine, I will leave the family.”
Now I’m asking—if you think what I did was wrong, please tell me.
And if you were in my shoes, what would you do…?

@Dammi_Esq You made a big mistake. Next time calculate the difference and charge it as storage cost. Simple

I sell cement at the market here in Abeokuta. A customer came to pay for 150 bags of cement, collected receipt and disappeared for over 4 months.
Yesterday, he came back with trucks to carry the cement. He said he had been seriously sick since the day after he made payment, that’s why he couldn’t come earlier.
I explained to him that the price of cement has increased since then and he needs to add more money before carrying the goods. I even offered to refund the exact amount he paid back then if he’s not comfortable.
Omo, the man got angry immediately 😩
He said he’s not adding any money and he’s not collecting refund. According to him, “na the cement wey I pay for I wan carry.”
He even threatened to drag me legally next week.
Before he drags me, that’s why I said I should ask if I’m really wrong because honestly, market price don go up and I no wan lose money o.
Pls what do I do now I need your advice it seems this man wants to chêât me ?

@aonanuga1956 I really dont understand why you are disturbed about ADC and NDC. Are you expecting only APC to be on the ballot? Please face your party and allow people to decide except for the obvious, that your party has performed woefully and you are afraid of contest.
English

Like ADC, the NDC has no plan for Nigeria yet
Out of sheer curiosity, I have twice in the last few days googled the website of the Nigeria Democratic Party (NDC), the party that the political wanderer Peter Obi and his ally, Rabiu Kwankwaso, sought shelter in after abandoning the ADC midstream.
I was interested in the party’s manifesto and whether it has enunciated a markedly different vision for the governance of Nigeria, one better than President Tinubu's and the APC’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
I was disappointed. Even though the site invited visitors to click on its manifesto to read it, the result was negative. “No document found" was the response I got each time I tried to download the manifesto. The party whose national leader, Senator Seriake Dickson, said would wage an ideological battle in the 2027 poll has not uploaded any manifesto since it was court-registered in February. What it flaunts are six policy nuggets that it characterised as pillars.
However, the nuggets don’t read like pillars. They sound more like the platitudes the party’s newest catch, Peter Obi, has bombarded the nation with in the last six years.
Senator Dickson, I look forward to your vision and mission for Nigeria, as your party appears to be the camp for the politically displaced and desperate.

@Angelaoker85191 @ruffydfire And a chicken hearted person want to be given free ticket to be president of this country. Tomorrow, he will tell us he was begged to be president
English

@ojstev2006 @ruffydfire We're dealing with so many issues in Nigeria, and the bandits and Boko Haram are just making it worse.
English

@AdaezeChinonso @ruffydfire We don't want a president that will run away instead of facing challenges and solve the problems
English

@ojstev2006 @ruffydfire Those who did not change political parties ,currently in government are yet to secure lives and property. So what is your point?
English

@Johnsonolu22485 @ruffydfire How come he is just knowing? Because he can not deceive them to get the ticket. A character like Obi is worst than PBAT
English

@ojstev2006 @ruffydfire That's why Obi left the party
Those people like Ameachi,Atiku etc have never helped ordinary people in Nigeria!
