My visit to Algeria last week highlighted the potential to deepen commercial and economic ties between our two countries, especially in the energy and agricultural sectors. One exciting project is being spearheaded by Baladna, a Qatari company building the world’s largest integrated dairy facility in the Algerian desert. As part of that project, they’ve committed to buy 30,000 American cows from 9 states. I can’t even imagine what the flights will be like to transport all those cows from the US to Algeria! Great project for both countries. 🇺🇸🐄🇵🇰
