I haven't been watching that much football and I'm still busy with work and daughter. But if I ever do get time and do any analysis, it would def be another MUFC midfield rebuild series for this summer. That's my comfort zone & I'm really interested to see what targets come up.

How are Cunha Mbeumo win-later buys? Keeping results aside, in 1 year what's the improvement in pressing, build up, chance creation & block defending? Barring fitness conditioning, what have we improved on? And all this for? Not even top 8 in a season where everyone's struggling

@EverydayMUFC22 My problem is the wingback. Very hard to profile. And most time have to be involved in the final moments of final third play. Very few options in the market to pick from.

If you remove Ruben Amorim out of the picture for a second, I actually have an issue in general with 343 - no wingers - hard to press high regularly - WB difficult profile to sign - lack of box occupation - wide 10s aren’t natural 10s but aren’t true wingers - 3 CBs Not United

OAU campus is one of the sanest environments in Nigeria. At least during my time there (2001-2006). The only exception is when students are triggered and they are fighting injustice. That’s when they sometimes break laws. My first five days on OAU campus, electricity did not blink for a second. That was the first time I experienced that in my adult life. Also the only place I felt comfortable to walk 5 kilometers at 2am, even in lonely places. Zebra crossing is also largely adhered to.

@TheDevilsDNA For me I will sell Bruno next summer. Bruno is a fantastic player but he doesn't fit what Amorims midfield-2 requires or how he wants the 10s to operate. So I will sell to generate money in the summer. Like you rightly said Case and Ugarte needs to be sold.

Three ~50m midfielders that cover physicality and technicality bases. Let Ugarte Casemiro go. Something like: Doucoure/Chotard + Rovella/Barrenechea + Guendozi/Barrios This club has needed a midfield revamp for ages. Get multiple peak/pre-peak CM/DMs that can progress + defend.

I may be in the minority but I’m perfectly fine with Amorim bypassing the midfield altogether and playing a direct style of football. It doesn’t suit Cunha or Amad but it suits everybody else.
