Manowar Second Chance Deep Dive (Part 4) Sign Of The Hammer (1984) Why do I like this album more than Hail To England? Simple…because the songs are better😂 Well, to be more specific, they’re more memorable! I definitely find myself going back to quite a few songs from this album because to me, the riffs are better, the hooks are better, and overall just a more enjoyable experience! I’m NOT kidding when I say that ‘All Men Play On Ten’ might be my FAVORITE Manowar song so far! I love the groove on that song and the swagger it has! FUCKIN KILLER! ‘Animals’ is a RAGER as well! The bass is SOO LOUD on that song it’s CRAZY😂 ‘Thor (The Powerhead) is a pretty epic tune! The title track has a really RIPPING riff! Same with ‘The Oath’! I love how fast paced they are! Really killer stuff from Ross The Boss! I’m STILL not feeling these longer songs, however. ‘Mountains’ and ‘Guyana (Cult Of The Damned)’ are decent songs. But are still too long and too slow for me to stay engaged throughout. But the bass solo starting with ‘Thunderpick’ leading into ‘Guyana’ is REALLY good! Overall, I DEFINITELY like this album more than the previous two! I don’t think it’s quite as good as Battle Hymns. But it’s the CLOSEST any album has come so far! NOW WE’RE GETTING SOMEWHERE! 🔥🤘🏻
