I will pay good money for new AI generated episodes of The Office.
I'm not joking.
$20 per episode.

I tried to get all of my monthly expenses down compared to income. Shows I still have about $2k left over per month on a $12,000 approximate monthly income (me and my spouse combined). That $2k left over hovers usually lower than that 😭the results:
Monthly Budget Summary (Family of 5, Military Benefits, $12k After-Tax)
Fixed Expenses
• Mortgage (incl. taxes): $1,650
• Power: $279
• Water/Trash: $100
• Cell + Internet: $189
• Car Payments: $700
• Car Insurance: $170
• Daycare: $500
• Car Maintenance: $159
Fixed Total: $3,747
Variable Expenses
• Groceries (Liberal+): $1,650 – $1,950
• Gas (2 cars): $220 – $350
• Amazon (essentials + gifts): $550 – $850
• Dining/Takeout: $200
• Streaming/Subs: $100
• Pet Care: $100
• Kids’ Activities: $150
• Misc/Impulse: $300
Variable Total: ~$2,970 – $4,000
Investments
• Acorns ($15/day): $456
• Webull ($12/day): $365
• SoFi: $800
Investments Total: $1,621
Grand Total Spent
~$8,338 – $9,368/month
Leftover from $12,000: ~$2,632 – $3,662/month
Could not even imagine being a single income household. And we have a cheap mortgage compared to today’s standard due to interest rates. We are currently at 3.25%.
And gas and grocery’s keep going up

Another thing I'm really excited about in @raycast v2 is speech-to-text dictation🎙️
Tested it briefly this morning and it's fast. WisprFlow-level fast, even in terms of accuracy.
Very good start.
One thing I'd love to see in upcoming updates: more privacy controls. Auto-delete history and transcripts after X days, clear local data, etc.
Maybe also the ability to use your own API keys and choose the STT model you want.
Dictation is insanely useful especially when working with Codex/Claude Code.
I've tested so many: WisprFlow, MacWhisper, Spokenly, and VoiceInk, which I've been using lately.
But having it directly inside Raycast is awesome.

@alexi_build @alexi_build, any reason you prefer Raycast AI to some other tool? I already pay for Claude Max, so it’s hard to justify paying for Raycast AI

Raycast docs got an update. It's during the Beta only now.
Still great. Free is free!

Can't believed it! 🤯 Raycast 2.0 will have free access to GPT-5.4 mini. This is huge! 🖤

New @raycast Dictation is seriously impressive!
Fast, reliable, cleans up filler words, supports custom vocabulary, and feels perfectly integrated.
After one day of light usage, it already saved me 15 minutes.
Would love to see vocabulary sync between macOS and iOS next.

@zachpogrob Suunto is passable. I was once successfully able to sync routes from phone to watch. 😂
English

@buckadeath Maybe then the state will ease up on taxing it 😂 (they won’t)
