#TheMandalorianAndGrogu crossed the 200M mark at Global #BoxOffice, after the #StarWars film grossed 27.8M on 2nd weekend overseas, harsh -59.7% drop (vs #TheMarvels’ 19.5M, -69.8%, #TheFlash’s 26.6M, -64.5%, #BlackWidow’s 29.9M, -62.1%, #SOLO’s 30.3M, -55.8%, #Thunderbolts’s 34M, -60.7%), for a 109.2M intl. cume over 53 markets (vs #SOLO’s 115.3M at same point) Allied to its 137.4M cume in the US, the SW film, with a 165M net production price tag not including marketing, hits a 246.6M Global cume (vs #SOLO’s 264.2M at same point)! Eyeing a 335M-365M Global run

@TrilbeeReviews I’m picking two because Rose is that good. My first is when Rose and Clive are talking about the Doctor, and there’s a brilliant blue light coming from the window which is also the direction of Clive’s computer with the Doctor’s face. My second is the first ever TARDIS entrance.

It is 2 weeks out from the release of @disclosureday and happy to say presales are strong. I would put them at the high end in the range of @F1Movie. Call it a range of $40m-$55m opening and would be a big win for Spielberg and @UniversalPics. Initial reactions outstanding!

@GlobalBoxOffice I loved Sinners, but F1 was an original film that opened bigger than Sinners with $57m. Oppenheimer was based on a book that I’m sure a lot of people didn’t know about. Opened to $82m. And Michael is an original film which opened to $97m. All this decade.

If you dislike Rey or Rose but not Finn, Poe or Kylo, why?? They’re all victims of bad scripts, especially so in The Rise of Skywalker. And it sure as hell ain’t the acting because Daisy Ridley busted her ass on the big screen for 3 movies straight.

That 165M number is what was reported by Disney to California for their Movie tax credits. In California, the salaries for anyone "Above the Line" are not eligible for those credits. Continued below.

#TheMandalorianAndGrogu crossed the 100M mark, but also failed to beat #SOLO’s opening at Global #BoxOffice, after the first #StarWars film in 7 years grossed 63M on 5-day opening overseas (vs #SOLO’s 68.3M) over 53 intl. markets. Allied to its 82M weekend in the US, the SW film, with a 165M net production price tag not including marketing, scores a 145M Global Opening, way below #SOLO’s 153M back in 2018.
